"I was involved in an event at The Goods Shed next door, and it was great to be able to walk a few metres at the end of the day to a lovely hotel room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was quiet, clean, well equipped, and in a great location."

"First stay at this hotel and it was really nice. The rooms and hotel generally were clean, and all was in good order. Not the largest rooms but for one it was fine. They do offer off-street parking but tried twice, on check-in and then after dinner and there was no space. There is all day parking about 30-40 metres away so that wasn't the end of the world. I have one negative or criticism, and that was to do with breakfast where I met a client. We both ordered eggs, but it came with just one...

"It was a nice clean place, with a large space. I only had two concerns: On one of the wooden rails of the stairs wood is being rotted away underneath the paint, leading into the railing to move under my hand. Some of the metal covers was missing in the spa bath. Was a lovely place and very close to town, will be back to stay "

"This property far exceeded our expectations. Historic property with plenty to do onsite. Paddle boats on the lake, electric bikes, playground, indoor heated pool, games, vege garden/ fruit trees to help yourself. The apartment we had slept 4 with good kitchen facilities and living space. Huge bedrooms! Little booklet with a short history of the property was a nice touch. The only thing id change would be an update to the mattress which was far to soft and for the soft furnishings to be...

"Good location, everything I needed. I stayed in a studio near the lifts and it felt a little bit like living in a fish bowl - open for all to see but once I got over that it was fine. Very good value."
