"Right on the main drag through Salida so convenient. Room was nice. We heard our neighbors a bit more than in some hotels but it was a weekend. Not set up for convenient phone charging (USB and a multitude of power plugs). Nice lobby ambiance. Breakfast area was small but you could always go back to your room. "

"To be clear, it is entirely likely we will stay here again. Please keep that in mind as you read. I'm not sure why this property is rated 8.8. It is a solid 6. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was hard to operate as the temp control did not work. No big deal. My wife had a bit of trouble with a dog allergy as it appears pets are allowed in every room. An open window fixed this. The outside of the property is a bit run down. Hand rails for stairs are too low, missing or coming out...
