"WOW what a beautiful property!!! It was clean and very well maintained and we all enjoyed the the stay so much that we plan to return to this beautiful place soon again. Only one issue was that the gas was empty for the fire pits so we missed using it for one night and they replaced it the next day so we’re able to use it next night. Highly recommend this property…just amazing!!!"

"Property was great. If you prefer a beach to walk out to, this is not for you. The tide there leaves no beach to walk on. It is straight ocean unless you wait for the low tide whi ch in our case only allowed like 3 foot of wet beach sand exposed to do so. There is public beach access up the road if thats what you are wanting to do. We did enjo enjoy the ocean waves right under our balcony pretty much and also the sound of the waves as we slept in the back bedroom. It is loud and and no need to open windows or doors to hear it. The only problem we had was with the heater. We went in November so nights were a bit cold but the heater wouldnt heat the area and would constantly make a weird sound then shut off, only staying on for like 3 or 4 min at a time. Me and my daughter froze at night so we dressed in full clothes, snuggled, and shared her blanket she brought. We were only there two nights visiting Camp Lejeune where my late husband was stationed so i didnt bother contacting the owner. Overall the place was great!hadhad to wear full clothes and mypu"

"Rick is a wonderful host, he made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house is cozy and well stocked, the porch is great. I don’t think my mom and aunt left the porch the entire time we were there. The theater room, that can be viewed from the comfy outdoor furniture or the heated pool, was definitely one of our favorites. We sat with the kids after dark and watched a family movie, after sitting around the fire that Rick was polite enough to get started for us. In addition, we were minutes from the beach and local eats, but other than a few surf shops the area isn’t touristy at all, very down home and comfortable. But we drove just a little way down the road to surf city and Wilmington where we found a large variety of shopping and restaurants. Plenty of things to do. Very peaceful stay, thanks again Rick!"

"First of all I don’t remember seeing anywhere it said you need 4 wheel drive to get to the property because you do with it being off the black top the sand is thick and you will get stuck #2 Somebody needs to be responsible for taking the trash to the road on the days that the trash man comes because we had a full trashcan from day. One from the previous owner is not taking it to the Front of the house in the sand #3 Something needs to be done about the drain flies coming up through the sink #4 The weep holes in both of those sliding glass doors on the back porch on the kitchen level. The weep hose are stopped up, not allowing water to get out. We had an all day rain yesterday and water huddled back inside the house not good. #5 There’s no use and having that hot tub because the hot water is run out by the time you get enough in it to get in it Other than that, we had a pretty good stay"
