"Just recently renovated, everything was updated, clean and shiny. Good size room with comfortable bed and the lighting was excellent. Some motel rooms are so dark! TV reception was terrible but probably not their fault. Did need more towel rails in the bathroom. Local info on where to eat would have been welcome."

Within walking distance of many places to eat and cute stores. Beaches were clean and very close for gorgeous sunrise views. All in all we loved our trip and would absolutely come back. "

"Our room was disappointing. The decor is very tired and was very dirty and worn. Merivale should be embarrassed to have it in their stable in its current state. It is in a great place and a renovation would make this a great place to stay, until this happens there are many better options in Narooma."

"there was no light at the motel entrance. It was disficult to locate the property in the dark. The room with cockroaches crawling around. The WiFi is bad. The owner said that we haven't booked the place and the cleaner threw all the food we kept in the fridge without checking my booking properly first. Although the owner bought back some food for us but we still lost some yummy food. This was a bad experience."

"The accommodation was as described and ver clean. We did notice that the dining chairs had lost their support and were very sagging. Unfortunately during our stay the living room curtain rail fell to the floor. This was due to its age and a number of broken brackets. Management was very prompt in attending but the curtains could not be put back up. "
