"Very helpful and beautiful "

"We liked that the property was so conveniently located to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The rooms all face the pool area, so it can be a bit loud in the room when kids are playing in the pool. There is also quite a bit of traffic noise from the road from early morning until late at night. There was a problem with hot water in the shower, but they came to repair it immediately when we notified them. We'd recommend the property if you're looking for a convenient location in Coco. "

"It was affordable, clean, and breakfast was good. The pool could have been a bit cleaner, but it was a pretty good stay overall. "

"We took our 4 teenagers to Costa Rica for Christmas. Casa Napoleon was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had all of the amenities we needed. The home is located inside of a gated community with 24 hour security and a guard shack which made us feel safe and at ease. The beach club access was an awesome perk - food and drinks were great, as was the beach. Our concierge was wonderful and went above and beyond, even assisting with retuning a cell phone we left in an Uber! Through Zindis, we hired a chef for our first and last night and it 1000% made our stay here perfect! Chef to Go and staff were incredible! My kids raved about the food and I am still thinking about it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Lastly, Coco is a great place to stay and serves as an excellent “base camp” with access to many different types of “adventure” within an hour or two of here, yet you get to enjoy the more predictable and warm, sunny weather of Guanacaste. We saw monkeys in the trees just outside the back door on our last day there, and you truly cannot beat the view!! We can’t wait to visit Costa Rica again! Pura Vida! "

"Conveniently located in the center of village steps to coco beach. Couldn’t ask more from a location standpoint. Friendly staff, easy to communicate and ready to help. Facilities are a bit old and needs an upgrade, faucet was broken and spilling water sideways. Other than that, we had a awesome stay at this place"

"Stayed as a family of four with 2 young kids and the condo was perfect. It was nice to be away from the main town center and have a quick 1-2 min walk to the beach. Plenty of things nearby (restaurants, mini-market, etc) so trips to main street are only needed for bigger grocery store runs. It probably wouldn't hurt to have a golf cart rental but it's definitely not necessary. The condo complex in general was great and the pool was perfect for afternoon swims. Very nice community of people who were all welcoming! Wouldn't change a thing!"

"This house accommodated our family of 6 (21-74yrs), everyone had their own space at the same time we had plenty of space to be together outside and inside. The house is beautiful, well maintained, view of the ocean is wonderful and although you can hear the roosters and dogs while outside you are far enough away that it’s nothing that impacts your stay. We rented 2 golf carts and a rental car, this allowed us easy access to Coco via golf cart (way easier to park them in the busy streets of Coco) the car was well used to do our big grocery runs at Walmart and PriceSmart. A few things need to be updated for this home details, although it was advertised we didn’t have access to the Coco Beach Club or Ocotal Beach Club, which was disappointing to find out after we tried to go into the Club. Also, upon arrival we were told the golf carts can’t be taken up to the main door and we’d have to walk up and down the very steep hill, which doesn’t work for my husband with a bad back, my senior Mother or myself waiting for knee replacements. I understand the safety issue with bad breaks and too many people in a cart can be very dangerous, but better communication on this would have made a difference on our booking. We would rent this house again and recommend to any of our friends and family. "

"The villa is located in the Coco Bay Estates development and positioned above Playa del Coco with a good bay view. The photos of VIlla Dulce Vida are accurate with respect to the design and finish and the villa was spotless when we arrived. There was a large load of bed sheets, towels, and pillowcases in the dryer that required folding. The kitchen is pretty well-stocked with cooking essentials but the fire sticks for lighting the grill were not functional. The black quartz countertops look great but show every crumb, grain of salt, water spot, etc requiring a lot of constant cleaning if you cook in the villa. There was no problem with mosquitos for our visit, but GIANT grasshoppers were a problem. Both raccoons and grey foxes were seen outside at night and Howler monkeys were heard, but not seen. The town is quite small, sleepy, and not a lot to choose from when it comes to restaurants (the Italian restaurant was quite good). Auto Mercado was an excellent grocery store (as was New Super China, but only for essentials). The restaurant (Sugoi) was average to good with a limited wine list. The associated beach club was quite small, minimaly staffed, and serves no cocktails. The nearest beaches are vocanic (black sand) and not particularly attractive. We enjoyed the week we spent at Dulce Vida but will likely not return to the town of Playa Coco in favor of other areas of Costa Rica."

"Fine for the price and our needs but very run down and not very clean. Staff was excellent. If you're looking for a really cheap place and aren't particular, it'll do. "
