The Space:
Located up a short flight of stairs on the second floor of our 8-unit "aparthotel," Unit H includes one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, a sofa bed, and a sleek bathroom with a walk-in shower. Each bedroom provides ample closet space to stow your belongings, while the bathroom includes a vanity with extra storage space in the closet adjacent the door. The common areas offer plenty of sunlight, highlighting beautiful features like romantic decor, open concept design, and brand new furniture and appliances, including a dishwasher. In the lounge area you'll find a wide couch to kick back and stream your favorite show on the Smart TV, while the inviting kitchen is fully stocked, with bar-style seating for four. 400 South is a newly-renovated, 8-unit "aparthotel" located just outside historic downtown Cocoa Beach. Situated on one of its popular local beachfront streets, you'll be in perfect proximity to ocean - think daytime beach sojourns or a romantic sandy sunset walk. It's a 5-minute walk to downtown, and just 50 steps to the beach from the front door! The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful, with a gated community directly across the street and million-dollar mansions all around!

Located on A1A with Uber and Lyft being very prevalent in the area. Downtown area is within walking distance.

Perfect location - easy to navigate to downtown and beyond. So close to the beach we easily walked back for lunch/drink refills. Comfortable accommodations with on property pool, washer/dryer, and beach supplies. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were a family of 3 with our medium sized dog. Location was a big deal for us along with a comfy place to stay and this checked it. We were literally right across from the beach access (ie S 4th St) which allowed dogs on the beach at specified times. The only cons that we experienced were the following: 1) Parking- it is free but some beach goers were using complex’s parking spaces to avoid the paid public parking and using the outdoor shower facilities. So we had to wait just to remove sand off our feet since the family of 5 took their time to shower and wash all of their beach equipment; 2) Safety- the main entry door which swings out, only had the digital padlock doorknob to unlock and secure the door. Once in, there is no “safety” bolt to secure the door; 3) Privacy- the doors to the bedroom and bathroom did not fully close or lock in our unit. I have reported these concerns to the property manager to address.
Property was super cute and perfect for our long weekend girls trip. 4 of us fit nicely without issues. The sofa was rather dirty but other than that the place was clean and sufficient for what we needed. The listing did indicate there was laundry but it wasn’t clear as to where to find it. We didn’t end up needing it but it is located under the stairs for communal use. The provided beach chairs also located under the stairs were super convenient. Beds were comfortable and everything was decorated and updated nicely. Beach perfectly located right across the street. Our only complaint was that it wasn’t as walkable to stores and restaurants as we had hoped so we had to Uber more than we wanted to. Overall, great little place to stay and would recommend.
The location is great. A few minutes to walk to the village, and the beach. The pool was very well maintained. However, there were a few things that should be mentioned. There was a lot of dust in the apartment. It was clear that only essential cleaning,. Like counter tops and bathrooms, is done. The air conditioning is extremely loud. The system runs straight through the apartment. The couch had a blanket over it to hide the stains. We know Florida is humind but the space smelled very musty. I took Some photos of the dust that I cleaned myself for fear of it falling in our food as it was over the kitchen counter tops and the coffee table. Please let me know if you wouldLike to see them.

Great location
This property is in a great location close to the beach and a short drive to amenities. The unit was quite moldy, unit H. There was obvious mold on the pictures, furnace filter, and especially one of the bedrooms. The furniture needed a deep cleaning, and there are no stools or places to get your legs and suitcase up off the floor. The a/c fan ran full tilt the entire time because the NEST thermostat can't be controlled with my phone. Seemed like the a/c didn't work as well as it should have, and the filter could use changed. Other than that, this is a nice unit with a good layout and plenty of room. I think the "newly remodeled" sales pitch is stretching the truth a little. It's probably been a few years since it was remodeled. Also, the exceptional rating is not accurate for this unit. Other tenants I talked to did not have the same issues with their unit that I saw in this unit.
We were here for a couple days before heading back to IL. It was the perfect fit for all 5 of us! It was fully stocked with what we needed, clean, organized and the owner was quick to respond. We loved how close it was to the beach and downtown!
This is a very nice place to stay. It's quiet, a lot to do in the area within walking distance, the beach is a short walk and also not crowded. This location is a must. When in the area for recreation, or to see a rocket launch like its in your back yard.
