"The breakfast was fantastic! So many options to choose from and great hours 6-10! The entire hotel is very clean. The staff was excellent. There is also a restaurant next to the hotel for other dining options. I will stay here again!"

"For an old building right on a main road with a restaurant and bar, it was very quiet and cozy. A place like this just has a charm that a modern hotel cannot replicate. Great stay, we will be back."

"I reached out to the host for several hours left messages and texted. Then called VRBO and they were absolutely a nightmare they were unavle to get ahold of the host also. Went to address provided online and there is no home that matches this advertisement."

"This is our third time visiting the Mill House and the reason is simple: it is consistently always clean, quiet, relaxing, and a beautiful place to spend a sunny weekend. We enjoy coming to the Mill House when we want to "disconnect from reality" an recharge. This visit, we made sure to make it and hike some of the great trails in the area which there are many. We'll definitely be returning again in the future."

"Beautiful Home on top of huge hill with a 270 degree panoramic view of rolling hills. Pool was amazing! Not a sounds around you but nature. Rental space was opulent and grand and felt like you were in the whole Mansion! Mr William and Ms Liz and family were over hospitable and even more kind! I’m keeping it short and sweet but definitely a place I recommend and will be staying at again in the future! "

"We stayed here as it was close to a family function scheduled for the weekend, so we were really on there to sleep, but overall, the stay was great. I would recommend an additional outside light (there is a motion light, but it doesn't come on until you are right upon it). Also, hooks for towels would be great! It rained most of the weekend, so we were unable to use the firepit and make smores, but the smores ingredients were a great idea! Thank you! Cindy "

"My wife and I had a great time staying at the Jackson House. The owners were so friendly, accommodating, the breakfast/cookies/coffee were fabulous. We look forward to our next trip here. The trail is right outside and a good excuse to get some steps in each day."

"Off the beaten path a little but as long as you read the host's direction and info it was easy to find. Not a lot of lodging in the area, so we were happy to find this one in conjunction with being in the area for a wedding. The layout is nice and open, and the apartment was clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. The inn is located on a main road with a lot of little shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is a battlefield right next to the hotel and museums within walking distance. Lots of tours available. It was a great experience. We loved how the room doors were on the outside of the building and we could step out onto the landing and watch the world go by. Beautiful views of the sunset. I wish they put some kind of furniture outside your room but it would make it hard for housekeeping and maintenance to travel through so I get it. Their outdoor pool looked beautiful. Parking was right behind the hotel. Breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. They had pancakes, sausage, eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit... It had it's own room and the dining room was the room next to it. So good. Really liked having a full breakfast each morning. The staff were so nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to explore Gettysburg! "
