The East Gate of Yellowstone is a 50-mile drive from Cody and is considered the most scenic drive into the park. From Cody you will also be able to enter Yellowstone through the Northeast gate via the Chief Joseph highway, known worldwide for its breathtaking views and high incline switchbacks through the picturesque Beartooth mountain range. Keep an eye out on the way, you could catch a glimpse of Big Horn Sheep, Moose, Elk, Deer, and Buffalo on your way into the Park. These animals are native to the area and very wild please maintain a good distance for safety. The Lower and Upper loops of the park both have incredible experiences to offer. Your park pass is good for seven days and we recommend exploring both if possible.
