"This is a property with a fascinating history which we enjoyed finding out from information available to read. It started life as a one man police station but has been used for several other purposes as well, making it our first night in a police station! We would love to stay again if we are in Ballarat again. Very comfortable and convenient."

"Not up to the standard expected from a Stayz property. Advised by Heather we couldn't check in until 3pm so it was 'perfect'. However on checking in, it was not perfect. Property not advertised as a garage conversion, (low ceilings, dark), but rooms large. Great bathrooms. Several trip hazards in house. Kitchen - haphazard. Not clean, unsafe electrical items (small oven/cooker) sitting on top of microwave and leaning against wall. Bathroom taps came off/loose. Outdoor area in the driveway next...

"Booked two studios for us and friends on a catch up weekend. Apartments were clean, access easy and communication from management freindly. Beds comfy and rooms clean. Pub 'Seymours' on the corner just up from apartments was about as far as we ventured after a lakeside concert, for a late dinner, and then again for breakfast. City centre a short stroll away. Would definately stay again without hesitation."

"The Hotel is lovely and beautifully renovated with unique touches. Very clean. Our suite was huge and loved the bathroom. Staff friendly. Good spot for walking most places. Only minor negative it that our room was right near the railway station so a bit noisy but we soon stopped noticing it. All in all a fabulous weekend getaway. Thanks!"
