"Great hotel but you need a permit to park outside the hotel which wasn’t apparent. There is plenty of free parking near by. Very few people speak or understand English in Beaugency. You will need basic French to help your stay! Best coffee was at the Cremerie Fromagerie-so good!"

"When we arrived in the hotel, late night after driving the whole day, I couldn’t check in (automatic machine) for one of the rooms (we had 2), declined the card every time. But accepted the other room. It was a problem with the automatic check in machine, not the card. The place was so horrible, dirty and smelly that we had lo leave right away and get another hotel on the spot. Don’t even consider to stay at this property, "

"What a lovely find. Just 10 mins from the motorway. This old building has huge rooms, bath /shower. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Lovely views of the lake with great walks after a long journey. However the best is left to last, the restaurant! If you want excellent food and a wine list to die for, this is for you. This is not a cheap restaurant but you will not be disappointed."
