Room was big and clean, staff were all very friendly and attentive. They made the stay great by going the extra mile and being accommodating for us. Shower was noisy, but still worked fine and didn’t impact the stay. Room was great value and breakfast included, which was very well cooked and a good portion size. 5 stars would recommend.

Well what a little gem this place is. Its not a swanky hotel by any means but if your after an honest home made food and a decent nights sleep, then you are at the right place. The landlady and her partner, were very friendly and could not do more for you.

We were late arriving but they kept the kitchen ope for 15 mins extra so we could have evening meal. Lovely four poster bed in a nice bright room. Bar was closing early as not busy, but lovely little ale bar The Dog House opposite. Great beers! Lovely breakfast in morning.

Nice building, but tired and needed a good, deep clean. Room was very good. Parking arrangements very unsatisfactory and hostess needed lessons in customer communication. The host was a little worse for ware drinkwise

No problem until 10.30,the bar shut but to be honest,the poor guy that run the bar was a one man band. He did the bar and he and his wife did breakfast,so I forgive him for his grumpy face.
