The room was comfortable and a good size. There is no hotel staff available to interact with on site and the elevator doesn’t run between 11pm and 7 am. With a room on the fifth floor that can be an issue. Although the neighborhood is quiet it is also remote from most tourists attractions. The restaurant below the hotel was outstanding.

The Clermont was so well situated for walking to many truly iconic London sights. The staff at the Clermont was outstanding! Helpful, friendly and great suggestions for dining. The bar staff and restaurant staff were so very accommodating. Terrific stay!

We were extremely pleased with the hotel location and amenities, but were even more impressed with the level of service that we received from everyone: front desk, concierge, baggage, the restaurant, and the bar. And not to forget housekeeping: housekeeping came by at least twice daily, and on special request as needed, and tidied up our room with fresh linens, towels, and still waters. It was the best housekeeping service that we have ever received. We highly recommend the Trafalgar St. James hotel to anyone traveling to London.

"First morning we were there the toilet was blocked which was very unfortunately. The maintenance and manager dealt with it efficiently and by the time we returned in the afternoon it had been fixed. I asked housekeeping and reception to change the soap dispenser in the shower which was broken but ..."
