The Valley of the Fallen or the Benedictine Abbey of the Holy Cross of the Valley of the Fallen is a monumental complex located in the municipality of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, in the Community of Madrid (Spain). The port of Navacerrada is a ski resort and mountain pass at 1 858 meters of altitude that is located in the Sierra de Guadarrama (Central system). The port separates the provinces of Madrid and Segovia, in central Spain. The southern slope (the Madrid) belongs to the municipality of Cercedilla and the north (the Segovia) to La Granja de San Ildefonso. This mountain pass and ski resort is very crowded on weekends by locals and tourists
