Stunning views to Pendle Hill from our room, friendly staff and an excellent dinner and breakfast. This was a much-needed short getaway and, with a great day’s walking today during which we hardly saw soul, was everything we’d hoped for. We will return.

Quiet stay with great food

Loved this hotel. I was looking for a quiet hotel with good quality home cooked food, and that is what I got. Soup was outstanding!! Very friendly staff and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and recommend

Lovely pub on the outskirts of Colne and Laneshawbridge with easy access for the Dales and the moors around Skipton. Clean and comfortable accommodation, and tasty food. Definitely worth a visit.

It’s the second time we’ve stayed. The first time in July so it was lovely to see a period Inn decked out for Christmas. We met with locally placed relatives for dinner which was lovely. Staff all friendly, especially Yvonne who does the breakfast shift and settled our bill. The Inn has great views and an enjoyable experience overall.

Well worth a visit

Lovely hotel great staff food was excellent and in a lovely location. Only thing that let it down was the price of the beer was just that bit too much felt like they were taking it too far

A proper country inn , great food , good staff , a good selection of drinks behind the bar . My room was clean and comfortable with complimentary coffee and biscuits . Breakfast was very nice , lots of choices on the menu and lots of choices of cereals and toast .

Dog friendly and very clean

Great stay, all staff were very friendly. This place is super dog friendly (I actually think nearly everyone in the building had a dog) During our evening meal one item on the menu was not quite right and they quickly sorted it out for us. The food was delicious too, including breakfast. The room was spotless and a lovely view across the valley.

Glorious location and comfortable rooms

Quick stop visiting friends. Lovely location and very busy food operation worth a visit if your passing through the glorious countryside. Staff busy but helpful enough.
