WHISPERING PINES is a Custom designed 2 bedroom Cabin in The Woods. With its Modern Farmhouse style decor, this cabin is sure to provide the warmth and comfort you desire during your stay in the great outdoors!
Step inside to a cozy living space with a stone fireplace extending to the beautifully crafted wood ceiling, flat screen TV, and seating for conversation and fun! Challenge your friends to a game of pool on the regulation Billiards Table. The kitchen features granite counter tops, conversation island, and KitchenAid stainless steel appliances; fully equipped with all the cooking necessities you need to prepare and serve a tasty meal for your friends and family! Enjoy meals inside or out with dining table options.

Second Floor - 2 Queen Beds with Private en-suite Bath


Outdoors you will be delighted to find another Fireplace and a Hot Tub ready to melt away all your stresses. Fire up the gas grill and serve up a delicious meal outdoors, enjoying the fresh mountain air and scenic views!! If you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of our local fox and family of deer!

Perfect couples getaway
The weather did not cooperate for the beginning of our stay. Michael went above and beyond to communicate with us and do whatever he could to get us into the house. We were able to get in a day after the initial date we booked and that was only possible due to his efforts to get the house cleaned and driveway cleared. It was a great house to be snowed in for a couple of days.

Mountain Dream Home
We loved our stay here! The home is very well taken care of and has all that you might need. We enjoyed the secluded location, the layout of the home, the hot tub and pool table. I would recommend getting groceries in Woodland Park. We enjoyed the wolf wildlife center tour as well as the fossil exhibit and trails which were nearby. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Cabin Getaway

We loved every moment at this cabin. Close to everything but felt remote at the same time! Home had everything we needed and communication was great! Our boys loved the upstairs space and pool table! Gorgeous...gorgeous...gorgeous cabin secluded by tons of pine trees and beautiful nature! The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect; very quiet area but not far from the main road that connects you to everything. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway!

Another wonderful stay
This is our third time staying at this cabin, and it is always a pleasure! The cabin offers a perfect blend of modern and rustic charm. It is clean, comfortable, and equipped with great amenities. Our kids absolutely love the lofted play area. We are looking forward to staying in the future. The hosts have always been very responsive and friendly.

Beautiful cabin
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. The house is gorgeous inside. Every little thing you could need was in the cabin. We ate dinner on the deck a few times, played board games, played pool and just enjoyed spending time together as a family. We saw 2 deer twice and several chipmunks. We ran out of time to use the hot tub but the view of the stars would've been amazing.

The place was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in and that goes a long way! There were a few minor things but we left them a note and will be easy for them to take care of. The one thing I would say is we had to bring two chairs from outside in so there was enough seating for our group of five in the living room for evenings watching a movie and I wasn’t expecting to be in a community area, was hoping for a lot of space to ourselves to explore and be in the “quiet”. Overall great place and great communication!

Peaceful & beautiful cabin in the woods
We were so thankful for Michael's cabin in the woods. It honestly felt like a little bit of heaven! It was so peaceful, very clean, with comfortable beds, and an amazing hot tub! We felt like we were able to be secluded and away from the rest of the world, yet we were just 15 minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. The cabin is grogeous, on the outside and on the inside-- my husband loved studying the architecture and design! We see why Michael highly encourages 4 wheel drive, but we were able to function fine with our front wheel drive minivan during the spring weather (the roads around the property are not paved, so maybe with rain it would have been harder to get up and down the steep driveway??). We would highly recommend Michael's property! Our family of 6 fit very comfortably in the cabin.

Wonderful cabin, great location and clean!
This is the second time I've stayed in this cabin and it does not disappoint. It is clean, has lots of kitchen tools, a wonderful view and everything you need being away from home. The hot tub is wonderful as well. The communication is great. This is a 10 out of 10 property.

Beautiful cabin with hot tub and outdoor fun
We stayed in late spring and the pictures don’t do the cabin justice. It is GORGEOUS! The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make quick snacks and gourmet meals. The bedrooms are quiet and comfortable. Everything was spotless! The property is amazing with well marked property lines, lots of birds, chipmunks and squirrels. We woke up to deer every morning. The neighboring homes are quite close but the trees between added some privacy. The cabin has a lot of windows without blinds/curtains which took a little getting used to. The property manager was excellent with communication and there are a lot of notes/directions in the guest manual. This cabin is perfect for all ages stocked with so many board games, big connect four, big tic tac toe, lawn dice, horseshoes, pool table and puzzles! My family had the best time and we are looking forward to staying again next year. Book this one, you won’t regret it!

We had a girls trip for a 40th birthday celebration and the views and serenity at the cabin were perfect. We loved having the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. The house is cute and clean and the communication was great. Would recommend this VRBO.
