"The space was cheerful, clean and comfortable. The unit has such character and a unique design. The bathroom is a little small but is a great use of space. Due to the historic qualities of the house the ceilings are low for tall folks over about 6'2". The host was also just as cheerful and charming!"

"We came in on Wednesday night and stayed until Saturday. Everything was nice except the floors were not as clean as they could’ve been we had to wipe up syrup off the floor by the table after having stepped in it. But other than that it was quite nice. Love the front porch room loves the view of the water. we would stay there again and hope they clean the floors this time"

"The house was really nice and cozy. The door was a bit of a pain but nothing to make me take away any stars. The neighborhood is so quiet and I loved sitting at the picnic table listening to the boats. We couldn't figure out how to get the satellite TV to work but that is alright we enioyed having family time. Will stay again."

"This property was exactly as listed. It was just ideal for our needs. The owner was warm and welcoming, and we felt like honored guests upon arrival. She explained everything and showed all of the conveniences and modern upgrades like Star Link internet and streaming TV. The country charm of the cottage was just what we needed after busy days. "Wonderful host, you couldn’t ask for anything more! We could have hung out and chilled with her and her husband. Very clean and comfortable stay on the lake, we were working, but it sure made life great! Everything you would need, if it’s not there they will go out of there way to get. Go for the weekend, the week or as long as you care to, don’t pass this one up, it’s a place you will visit as much as possible I promise you!!"

Cons - showers bad, no pressure, hot water barely warm, towels well used, living room large, but only 2 chairs, no couch for family viewing of tv, little amenities like facial tissues would have been nice. "For our 50th Class Reunion, the Henry House was perfect. Debra was an ideal host. She let us check in early and made certain all was to our liking. The ambiance of the house was so peaceful. My husband said there was a sweet spirit in this house, and there was. I particularly loved the way Debra stayed true to the character of the original home. We loved it and will come again!"
