The check in process went well. You have to leave your key at the front desk each time you leave the hotel which we found odd. Everything you enter you have to give your room number and receive your key again. The hotel is about a 13 min walk from the metro station, which is convenient. My husband found women’s hair rolled into a ball in his clean towel (this was not mine). There is no safe, which is a must when traveling (passports and extra cash). We were supplied with one bottle of water in the room when we checked in. I assumed they would replenish it daily but they did not.

It isa beautiful hotel. Breakfast was a litle busy and spread out too much but it was still tasty and people working there where nice and fast.

The shower was not draining and overflowed. They did fix the problem that day so I was able to take a proper shower later that day but for the high price I paid for the hotel…the shower should have been in working order.
The grout between tiles in the bathroom were also dirty.
The staff on the other hand was very helpful and responsive!

"The duty manager was friendly and helpful. The whole building was clean and tidy. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed. Lovely toiletries supplied. The small kitchen with a fridge was perfect it meant we could store a few perishables on the way down to the south of France on our trip ..."
