This cozy, secluded and comfortable hideaway is perfect for those wishing to visit the Flathead/Glacier area. It is located on more than 8 acres in the Flathead valley and offers a real Montana experience. At your disposal: Glacier Park (20 minutes to West Glacier) The Flathead River (a 5 minute walk) Whitefish (15 minutes) Kalispell (15 minutes). It is located between Columbia Falls (5 minutes) and Glacier International Airport (7 minutes). There is WIFI and Roku TV in the chalet.

At the end of a dead end road - No road traffic. Isolated with all amenities that you would need for a get away. Cabin was comfortable, clean and private. 30 min drive to Glacier National Park. However, not as close to river or lake as indicated, but not a big deal for us.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and cozy. My only complaint was that the last picture on the listing was of a fire pit that was built up with seating with a body of water in the background. I thought the rental would be right on the water and have a spot to make a fire. There was a place to make a fire there but we did not feel comfortable using it and there was no body of water there.

Beautiful location and close to west glacier entrance. Mike the owner was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some good roads to take. We would definitely go back! I loved watching the planes in the morning!

The owner was nice enough. I had to wash table when I got there because it was so dirty. It stated that Towels were provided but there was only one bath towel for showering and no washcloths at all. I asked him for a washcloth and he brought me a kitchen towel. The grass was up to my knees so you couldn't really enjoy the yard. And I know there will be mosquitos but the long grass didn't help I'm sure. All those little things aside, most importantly needs to be noted that he should NOT be using the cabin during the day when his renters are gone. He came in to use the washing machine while I wasn't there. I paid to rent your property for four days, it's MY space for those four days. Then, final night I was sitting on the deck talking on my phone when he came over and said "Can I throw these in the washer" his armful of sheets. I said that I had stuff in there so he couldn't and went inside. He should NOT be entering the property when he has it rented out, I feel that is just wrong.

GPS directions to the property were wrong. I had to find it on a map. Great location tucked into the end of a road. Cabin was a bit more rustic than I expected, but overall very pleasant and quiet. Owners were great and very helpful.

Pros: beautiful surroundings with lots of trees, grass, baby fawns and birds! Met all of our needs. Got beautifully cool at night during a stretch of very hot weather, back deck a pretty spot to sit, close to Whitefish and Columbia Falls without being in town, Mike and Irena were lovely and friendly. Cons: wouldn't be good for someone with mobility issues due to uneven floors and difficult to access bath tub, a little dirty, hard to find at night - Google maps is not adequate so get instructions before hand if you might arrive after dark.

Cabin near the West entrance
Great little house/ cabin near the west entrance to GNP. Convinently located, quiet and unique. Back porch was wonderful for having coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Mychal and Irina were kind friendly and offered us tips of where to go off the beaten path. I would definitely stay again ❤️
