Staff was amazing, professional and friendly. Hotel itself was out of the way and quite old. Definitely needs renovated.Also smelled moldy and closed up.

The room was cleanish but the property is very aged and in need of a remodel. The room had a musky odor upon entering. Also bring cash as drinks and snacks purchased at the counter can’t be charged to your room or by debit card.

The staff was very helpful, and the pool and spa were great for what we needed after a long day at Ft. Jackson. The breakfast was sufficient and our room was huge compared to other hotels. I read some of the other reviews about the hotel needing a facelift, but it was perfect for a 2 night stay and the price point was great. Would recommend and would stay again.

The price per night was reasonable. The hotel needs a fresh coat of paint, major fixes internally, the ice machine looked like it was hanging onto life support. The chipped paint was very noticeable throughout the hotel room and the hotel itself. The hallway carpet that led to the rooms were dingy, dark and looked dirty. The room inside had a slight odor, so I was happy I brought my candle along. The landline telephone looked like it was from 1999 (no cap)!! The wires were hanging out of it and miraculously it still worked (gotta give it to em for that smh); the television conked out for one whole day - so when i turned it on all it said was "Life is Good (LG) and No Signal...so no tv for an entire day!! I didn't even bother calling the front desk - what a JOKE!!!!! no matter what time you check in, (my checkin was close to 2am), the front desk calls your room to make sure everything is ok. So when they call my room I asked to be transferred to a more updated room - you guessed it - absolutely none existed - the grounds are not well kept, people are allowed to smoke and drop cigarette butts all over the property - I didn't bother having their continental breakfast - i was afraid of what I would discover!!!!! I saw not one security officer and didn't feel safe coming in so early in the early morning. I will never do Country Inn & Suites again in life...I thank God the party I was in town for was a total blast and I had such a good time-but my stay at Country Inn & Suites yuck!
