Good value for the money.... Pool was out-of-order during August.... Housekeeping didn't touch room during our 3-day stay.... Cable selection was poor.... Still, bed was comfortable.... Rate was good.

Beds were comfortable and no bugs noted. But the sheets had various cigarette burn holes. The refrigerator didn’t shut all the way. The two chairs in the room were FILTHY!!! Floors were dirty, I did not walk barefoot in the room!!! It was convenient location to the fair grounds.

This property was not a hotel, but a motel. The facility was rundown. The pool was closed and not approved to be opened by the city. The room was dirty, clock was inoperable and I killed a cockroach in our room.

Awful. Awful. Awful. This is really on me and lesson learned. Book without possible refund is because when you arrive you’ll be greeted by many homeless fellows sitting on the MOTELS steps asking for change. You’ll also see the pool that has not been opened the last decade. Once you go in to the lobby, you’ll probably not be greeted, so be grateful for the homeless man asking for money. If I was rating him, I’d give a 9, but alas, they did not ask for his rating here. After standing at the desk, you’ll notice a plaque stating your things, in your purchased room, is not their problem if (and probably when) it is broken into. So, after waiting, I went outside and checked out a few of the doors to the rooms. Quite visible marks of breaking and entry on the first door closest to the lobby. I am sure you are surprised that I left, I really wanted to see what the rooms were like and if McDonalds breakfast would have had to be our morning option as there is no way breakfast was anything more than old stale muffins. I tried to get a refund. But Expedia could not contact the property. Much like my check-in process. So we are out $140 for 1 night of not staying and a long drive home after the sporting event we went to.

Didn’t realize this was a motel when I booked. People outside screaming at 2 am for quite some time. Bath enclosure falling apart so didn’t even want to take a shower. Sheets were already dirty. Door looked like someone tried to break in the bathroom. But was a place to sleep as we’re going to Ohio state tour.

So much confusion around getting a room with a microwave and fridge. Huge hassle but the manager made it right. It’s an okay place to stay if you’ll be drunk and not focus on it being kind of a gross motel.
