"Das Haus war absolut nicht sauber,die wc Spülung ganz schwach man muss lange Spülen um dünne Klo Papier runter zu bekommen, überall Staub wolken am Boden, spinnen Netz überall, nicht hygienisch. Die Betten bei jedem drehen hört man im ganzen Hause, der Preis ist okay sonst ist nichts im Dorf"

"We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux...

"Location choisie pour fêter les 30 ans de ma soeur avec les amis et la famille. Maison très spacieuse, agréable et très bien équipée au niveau de la cuisine. Environnement extérieur sympa avec plein d'activités possibles pour tous, nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse avec le court d'eau très reposant. La grande salle de réception était très appréciable. "Fantastic house, garden and facilities. High quality beds and bathrooms throughout. Tennis court was a particular bonus, with a good bounce even though it looks a little tired. A lovely quiet location with lots of activities within half an hours drive. And Claire was amazing when our car broke down....."

"The chateau is absolutely lovely - beautiful setting and lovely hosts. Quaint villages surround, so easy to run to the bakery or grocery, and easy drives to Le Mans, Chenenceau, vineyards, etc. Highly recommend!"

"The property is amazing and everything listed was also available. Perfect place for big groups! We booked an indoor pool - the temperature was perfect, but the pool was not directly attached to the property. To get access to the indoor pool you need to cross the owner's garden."

Nice central hotel and friendly staff

"We had a very nice stay , and we were upgraded to executive room which was lovely , unfortunately it looked out onto the main road which was being dug up and majorly overhauled and the noise from machinery until they stopped was rather loud . It restarted at 8am but luckily we were just waking up anyway . The staff were very helpful and helped us find parking as road disrupted and breakfast was very nice . "Un hôtel agréable, mais aux chambres vraiment petites. L'hôtel est agréable, avec un accueil efficace qui nous a permis d'arriver très tard sans complications. Il est situé près d'un rond point assez passant, ce qui en rend l'accès aisé, mais force à garder les fenêtres fermées la nuit. Heureusement qu'il y a une climatisation. Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique. Mon seul bémol est la taille des chambres, où il est difficile d'avoir plus qu'une valise de taille cabine ouverte dans la chambre. Comme l'hôtel est à proximité des nombreuses attractions des châteaux de la Loire, il vaut mieux en profiter et ne passer qu'un temps minimum dans les chambres. "

A fantastic week!

"We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux in Chateaudun which is about 20 mins drive away - would highly recommend. All in all we had an amazing week and would love to go back at some point."

"The reception staff were very helpful. We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. The cups were not changed and the floor was not cleaned (we stayed for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very poor value for €9. We were happy with the location because we enjoy walking so walked into the town to eat- the walk around the lake would be lovely in the daylight!"
