"We were the only guests at the chateau. The property is beautiful and the owner very hospitable and welcoming. There are 4 peacocks that roam the chateau grounds which are beautiful. In the morning the owner presented us with a gorgeous breakfast in his chateau dining room which was very elegant. All considered, we would love to stay at Chateau de Chantore again. 5 stars."

"My only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! This Chateau and the grounds are stunning. The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"

Mais après c'était beaucoup moins bien, un salle de bain avec la paroie de baignoire qui tombe, des joints noir, des peignoirs qui ont déjà bien vécu et rêche... Un système balneo qui ne fonctionnait pas... Aller on va se rattraper dans l'espace bien être... Ça continue, une piscine froide, trois pauvres appareil de sport dans un état miteux.... We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."

"This hotel is situated above the main area of the seaside so it's a walk either up or down quite a steep hill to get to restaurants and shops- good for keeping fit! The staff were excellent and helpful but we had to change our room when the shower broke which meant we were moved to a smaller room. That spoilt our stay a bit as we had a lot of luggage and stuff."
