"Outstanding experience with owners and the property. We had originally reserved a smaller cabin but they had begun closing it up for the winter and generously gave us a larger space for same price. Cabin was very clean and came with everything needed for our four night fishing trip. We were very pleased with our stay and will be reserving next year too. Excellent choice for anyone looking for a property on the Tower end of the lake. Owners were easy to communicate with and made sure our needs were met. "

"Once again the Comfy Lake Vermilion cabin fullfilled our needs on a September fishing trip. The cabin was clean upon arrival and was the perfect accomdation for our group of 4. Ideally the boat lift will be in better working order for our return in 2025. Vermilion is one of the best fishing lakes in MN and the need for a fully functioning boat lift or protected docking space is a necessity."

"Delightful little cabin with all the accruements needed Only suggestion would be to add a railing at top of trail to the dock so it will make it easier to traverse. Wonderful place!!"

"Went to relax and celebrate my wife's birthday. We have been to Elbow Lake several times and knew what to expect. The cabin is "no frills" but that is part of the experience. It is right on the lakeshore with a deck literally a few feet from the water. The lake is quiet with very few boats making it easy to hear the frequent loon calls. It's a good kayak / canoe lake with a beautiful sand beach in front of the lodge for swimming. The on-site manger and his family are there for whatever you need. Only deficiency was a less than fully equipped kitchen. If you are looking for a simple, quiet, up North vacation, this fits the bill!"

"Exactly what you need to rest up, relax and refuel to get back outside for more fun! Gracious, resourceful unfussy hosts. Great place to keep your boat right near the cabins. Velvety sand bottomed swimming beach. Fairly quiet like without wake boats or jet skis during our stay."

"This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. The day of my stay I had to message for directions to the cabin. Directions were not sufficient and I had no cell service. I ended up paddling to the cabin (to the “left of the dock” as I was told). It was raining and I couldn’t find the key that was supposed to be under the steps of the deck. I had no cell service and disk was approaching so I had to drive back to town and call. The host didn’t respond to my messages. I called VRBO and they could not reach the host but said since I left the premises they would not find me a place to stay since I “vacated the property” I was alone on a lake, in the rain with no cell service or shelter!!! The following day the owner messaged me and apolgized. Apparently the cabin was across the lake and I should have “pinned” it on my phone for directions (no where did it say to do that) and I had no service. I was at the wrong cabin but didn’t know it. They offered to refund and let me try again next year for free to make up for the ordeal. After a few months I noticed I did not receive a refund and they will not respond to my inquiry. Do not book this property unless you want to lose out on your money."
