Perfect getaway!
The farmhouse beyond exceeded our expectations! Amazing furnishings, fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful surroundings! Quiet and peaceful area with great star gazing at night. Close to tons of hikes, kayaking, and state parks! We will definitely be back! Our pups loved it too:)

Girls weekend trip
A group of friends from the Nashville area rented this cabin for a weekend trip. The decor throughout the cabin contributed to the beautiful atmosphere. The property owner provided great communication leading to the trip and the cabin was very clean. I've already recommended this cabin to my friends.

Nice Weekend Getaway
My family loved our farm experience! My children loved being able to climb a ladder to get to their bedroom. Everything was so clean and the owner was super fast at responding to any questions I had. We also loved the farm dogs, Red and Duke! We felt very protected. It was a really cool experience.

Great get away!
We stayed at the house for 2 nights, its a very relaxing place to stay. The rustic charm is great with all the essentials you need from the vintage fridge to a grill outside, its a very clean and well maintained house that brings you back in time. We loved being able to walk around the property and get away from everything for a couple days. The owners came by to check on their cows and wrangle a mini horse that showed up, they seem like great people and very nice. This is a working ranch so if you have an issue with seeing cows in the back then this might not be the spot for you, but if you like the feeling of being in the country and away from everything then this is a great spot. The beds were very comfortable (there are two beds in separate bedrooms and then 3 cots in another room). If we go back to that area we will definitely stay here again if available, also a big plus is they accept dogs which is what originally led us to this rental.

Fantastic restored farmhouse!
My wife and I live in Florida but own a cabin in Tennesse. On a last minute plan we were traveling to our cabin when on a whim I decided to book this farmhouse. My wife thought I was nuts! When we arrived she thought I was a genius. This place is a restored farmhouse that will make you feel like you are back in history (but with all the modern amenities). The owners did a fantastic job at restoration and we loved hearing it's history. The house is on a working farm but everyone that passed us by were so friendly and cordial we felt like family. Another really cool feature is that you feel like your in the middle of rural life but the center of town is only a few minutes away. If you like the thought of living in the past in a stone and wood farmhouse but also have all the modern day conveniences this place is for you. We can't wait to go back!

Retreat, away from it all!
I came to Cookeville from Florida to find a place to live and to get to know the town and the area as I will be relocating with my job. When I first got there I was amazed, as beautiful as the pictures are on the site it doesn't do it justice. It is very peaceful and relaxing, away from it all. I had my 2 little Pomeranian dogs with me and we loved seeing all the cows and my favorite was the little blonde horse and a donkey that were always together and playing. :-) At night it is very dark and great for gazing at the stars and so many fire flies/lightening bugs it looked like a light show. The ground looked like it had twinkling christmas lights. The people in town are very friendly and helpful. I have already recommended this farm house to family and friends. What a great place to stay. The owners are very nice and make you feel welcome into their amazing retreat getaway Farmhouse, thank you very much :-) Teresa, Pebbles and Lucy from Florida

Romantic Birthday Getaway
This was such a great spot! My wife and I really loved the chance to get away from Nashville without having to drive far. The style of the house was amazing, one of the most creative renovations we've seen with all the right touches. We love older homes with character and this was the perfect place for us to unwind. We found the space very cozy and spent the whole weekend on the property picking vegetables from the garden, watching for frogs at the pond, and walking back to see the cows and Sampson the horse. We made a fire in the fire pit, cooked all of our meals in the kitchen and had plenty of space to just sit and read a book, inside and out. The owners were very easy to work with and were very willing and quick to respond to our questions. We did have to bring a few cooking items of our own, but this was mostly because of our preferences and they were honest about what they had. They even hooked up an extra freezer for us to use! We were told that the house is on a working farm and that it wasn't uncommon for the family to be seen driving up and down the driveway. This was true, as trucks came and went several times throughout the weekend. It was a bit more activity than we expected, but everyone was very friendly and respected our privacy! Overall, we would DEFINITELY recommend this place and hope to make it back in the winter sometime!

Very rustic and beautiful place!
This has to be one of our top Vrbo’s we’ve ever stayed in!! The house is out in the country with cows that graze close by the widows and back yard. The area the house is located is also very nice. The work and detail the owners put into making it so rustic was over the top! Our only complaint is we didn’t book a longer stay!

Lovely Farm Stay
This was our first farm stay, and it was fun! I felt right at home since I grew up in the country. We all enjoyed the cows, the dog, and--most of all--the frogs in the pond! It was nice and quiet but not a bad drive into town for lots of food options. The house itself is super cute. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Lots of room upstairs for the kids to hang out. Great old trees and a porch swing. Internet was spotty at times but that comes with the territory. We'd definitely recommend and would stay again!

This property is perfect. The setting is wonderful and the home is great. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was fairly cold when we visited and the house stayed warm. The home even came with a cute dog that liked to hangout. I would highly recommend this property.

Loved this house!
My family loved this house and town!!! The house is darling!! Perfect farmhouse decor! We loved having the cows so close, enjoyed the porch swing, fire pit, the frogs jumping in the pond, cornhole, and the peaceful days spent together! We explored Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls, which were not too far of a drive. We loved exploring town! We tried Ralph’s Donuts, Cream City Ice Cream, Bobby Q’s, the boutiques, the murals, & Cookeville Train Depot!! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely
This property was just lovely. The home is nestled on a lovely farm and lovingly decorated and well appointed. Easy drive into cookeville and all it has to offer. Also a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet. I have been disappointed in my most recent VRBO stays and have not taken the time to leave a review. Charming farm house

Relaxing!
We had a wonderful time at the farmhouse! We loved hearing the cows calling to each other - and we especially loved the two dogs that practically adopted us - Red was hilarious! It was very quiet and we got some much needed rest and sleep. The antique floor fan in the downstairs bedroom could probably be rewired- when we went to plug it in - sparks flew out of the cord. So we didn’t use it. We wished we could have stayed longer ! We took lots of photos and as a professional photographer this rental was a dream come true for some inspiration!

Little slice of Heaven
We loved everything about our stay- the pictures don’t do this place justice. Anna was wonderful and easy to work with. We loved sipping coffee next to the cows in the morning, exploring the beautiful property during the day, and hunting for shooting stars at night. We will most definitely be back!

Adorable little farm house
Property is just as listed, adorable little farmhouse. We walked the property, took the pup for a swim in the larger lake, and enjoyed the peacefulness. There was quite a bit of farm traffic which we didn’t mind, we actually stopped and talked to some of the locals for recommendations.
