The customer service here is absolutely terrible. I currently manage a hotel myself in Time Square, NYC so i know how hospitality should go. This hotel staff does not care about anything but selling the rooms. They don’t care about your concerns. They don’t care about your requests or making sure you’re comfortable for your stay. They are extremely rude & will tell you anything to satisfy you for the moment so you don’t keep “complaining”.
The front desk agents don’t allow you to speak to a manager so your concern is dealt with. I ended up leaving my face wash & toothpaste in the bathroom because i was in a rush (i know for sure i left it because my partner told me he saw it on the counter of the bathroom right before we left, i just forgot to grab it). I called the hotel immediately after to let them know & the front desk agent named Dev & Rha, told me to contact the next morning to speak to a manger and housekeeping.
I called the next morning and the front desk agent Dev was extremely rude to me. I have never in my years of traveling ever came across someone like him and i work in NYC!! (I come across rude people all the time). As a manager at a hotel, that was extremely shocking to experience. He refused to let housekeeping manager know about my issue, so i practically had to beg to speak to the housekeeping manager. I know every hotel has one because i work at one!! When i told him that, he says “you don’t speak spanish, they can’t help you” and that was even more
