"It was a clean and spacious room. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, sheets and towels had stains but smelled clean. The water smelled horrible. Pulling in it looks like a junk yard. Weird that everything in the room was unplugged and not enough outlets to charge devices. Internet didn't work. Good restaurant just down the rd but not much else. Lots of recreation close. Ok for the price but won't be staying again."

"Hampton Inn waterfront was top notch! It was a great location for the beach. Easy walk across the street to the beach. Beach had accessibility for wheelchairs to get down to the lake. The hotel was very clean! All the staff were so friendly and helpful. There is an outside bar, restaurant on the top floor, live music certain nights on the patio, plenty of space for kids to play yard games, swing, or sit in the sand. Inside/ outside hot tub and inside pool. This hotel is definitely a great place to stay for couples or families!"

"We (2 adults, 1 kid, 1 dog) really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The owner provided detailed instructions for finding the place, and check in was a breeze. The space was exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. Rooms had comfy beds, and the kitchen was stocked for cooking some nice dinners together. Location in the woods was peaceful, but close enough for us to enjoy trips to Manistee, Travese City, and Frankfort. On the occasions we stayed in, there were fun games to play and Roku TVs in both bedrooms and living room. While we didn't get to hike the National Forest (not enough time), this cabin is in a prime location to access some of the best trails. Or, to simply sit and enjoy the peace and beauty of the surrounding forest. The summer lightening bugs really put on a show for us every night! We would absolutely stay here again!"
