This place was definitely a home away from home and not far from our actual home. The only downfall from the original description was the fact that it was not within walking distance from downtown. "Great location! Walking distance to downtown- We love history and this wonderful town has great places to visit: museums - pebble hill plantation- Lapham Patterson house just to name a few. "We stayed at Hoodwood Bed and Breakfast to attend a football game in Tallahassee and what a smart decision this was. The home was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Walking distance from downtown Thomasville, we enjoyed our walk to dinner and listening to a band in the town’s amphitheater. The homeowner was responsive throughout our stay.
