"We went during winter and weren't aware that there was no internal heating, we booked the basic site. Do yourself a favour and upgrade. Location is good and it's a good way to experience the Coonawarra as there are limited accommodation options available, despite it being a fantastic place to explore "

"The property was neat and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a front room for our stay which was close to a main highway so a little noisy. The rooms while clean could really do with some updating - they are quite tired. "

"Booked for 2 nights during Festival but upon arrival was allocated an upstairs room. Despite the property not being fully booked was told a ground floor room was not available. This was a problem for us as being elderly we found that climbing stairs difficult. Parking was behind the building and open to anyone passing, I found this not very secure. Restaurant was Closed. "

"The perfect remedy to stressful life. A couple of nights here and I honestly feel renewed. Sophie is just wonderful, the most warm, thoughtful, welcoming host. Never intrusive and so lovely to have around for beautiful garden walks and chats. Absolutely everything you could want or need is provided. Our 5 year old daughter loved it too. "This was an extremely disappointing property. It was rundown, outdated, (unnecessary clutter everywhere), unclean and in poor condition, inside and out. The cleanliness of the kitchen, with musty cupboards, dirty dishcloths, unclean cutlery and filthy fridge and BBQ was a disgrace. The precarious shower over the bath was an extreme safety issue and should be addressed with at least one safety rail. "As a family of 2 parents, three tall young adults and a girlfriend we comfortably settled into the WH for 3 nights. "The house was even more spacious and lovelier than the photos!! We loved the well equipped kitchen, and picturesque surroundings with lots of privacy. A very comfortable and welcoming property for a relaxing stay. We appreciated the bottle of local Prosecco that was left for us to enjoy, and the beautiful vases of roses in every room.
