The newer Hotel Pratt is a cozy hotel, nestled behind the historic Hotel Pratt, one of the older structures in the historic village of Cooperstown, NY. Guests of the Hotel Pratt enjoy FREE off street parking in our private lot and the convenience of being in the heart of Cooperstown. It is just a half a block from Main Street, where one can browse through Main Street shops or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants. It is under 300 feet from the Baseball Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field where the game of baseball was created (according to local legend).

The hotel is steps away from the Hall of Fame and Doubleday field. My boys had the best time. The hotel was so easy to get to, they were constantly checking in to make sure we were set, and it was in a perfect location. We will be staying here again!

This was a very clean, centrally located place to stay. Not a luxury sort of place, but well cared for. The owner was accommodating and friendly. I'd stay here again, and can recommend it without hesitation. Worked out great for a father-son Hall of Fame weekend.

Quaint and convenient - literally steps from the Baseball Hall of Fame. The most friendly, thoughtful and helpful staff. We communicated several times before and after our trip. The room was a very nice size and comfortable Not the most modern but clean and pleasant.

Clean, Easy and Good location
The communication with the host was excellent. It made the check-in process painless. Everything was clean and ready for us. The bar next to the room was a bit dodgy late at night but once we walked to the main street everything was good. Cooperstown is a great place to visit.

Convenient to Everything
This is our 2nd time staying here, and for all future visits to Cooperstown this will be our home base. Literally a 2 minute walk to the Hall of Fame and all of the shops and restaurants downtown. A short 15-minute drive to Cooperstown Dreams Park. Comfortable and quiet, with onsite parking, which makes downtown much more accessible. The hosts are wonderful, and communication was great. We highly recommend.

Perfect for us
The hosts were very accommodating and switched us to a lower level room. CJ gave us good recommendations for dinner and breakfast. Everything was in walking distance and we have bad knees and use canes. Note: if you are looking for the Ritz, which we were not, go somewhere else. This room was a basic room, clean and with all the essentials. We enjoyed our stay.

You can’t find a better location in the village.
Location, location, location is what it’s all about when you’re visiting in Cooperstown. You are steps away from all of the quaint and delicious restaurants and fantastic little boutiques. Every other store is a baseball store and rightly so the parking for this rental was very convenient And always available. The owners were more than responsive and very accommodating to all requests. The bathroom is pretty small and the shower could use an F grade however, the location and the service made up for it. The beds were comfortable and the noise was minimal at night .

Location location. If you are looking for a simple place to stay, this is your spot. It is within close walking distance to all things, baseball, including the Hall of Fame. But if you’re looking for a upscale, well appointed hotel room, this probably shouldn’t be your top choice. It’s aged, tired, and needs a solid update. Just the notion of entering through a bedraggled parking lot is a little off put it. Manager text response was excellent.

Overall the room was clean. However, the coffee pot was not, it still had coffee grounds and the filter from the last guest. The pot did not appear clean. The shower did not look clean but it was probably hard water spots, not that it had not been clean. The room was very quiet. Laundry facilities were available in the basement and were reasonably priced.
