"Pool needed a good scrub around the water line it had a large ring of black scum on the tiles. Cooking utensils were lacking, the pan was so bad we had to go out and buy one. Bed very comfortable. Room was spacious. Enjoyable stay, would recommend."

They were super helpful providing information on the area and booking trips. "The staff were friendly and helpful, check in was easy and we were given a high chair for the baby. The room was really nice and big and a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was beautiful and warm. The hotel is so close to the beach and offer toys for the kids to borrow. The only downsides are there is no lift so we had to get all our suitcases up and down 3 flights of stairs, and we did not fit in the underground parking so parking was out the back, further from our room with our luggage,...

"Definitely our go to place in PD having stayed there many times over the years. The property is brilliantly located opposite parkland and very close to all the Port Douglas has to offer. Approximately 10 minute walk to the beach and around the same to the marina and even less to the main shopping strip in Macrossan St. A great spot."

"This was our 3rd time staying in PD, first time at Saltwater - which was absolutely amazing. The location right in town on Macrossan is awesome. It is right in the middle of everything, but still very quiet in the room. So much easier than grabbing a shuttle all the time if you stay at the resorts out of town which we had done previously. Staff were very kind, kids loved the pool. Apartments are spacious with high ceilings and a nice outlook from balcony. We will be back!"
