"We spent a short weekend here in Stockbridge to attend the Naumkeag Pumpkin Show. The kids (2 + 4) were in amazement the entire time. The house was a fantastically creative environment with books, games, toys, and a massive yard with swings. A+ would stay again."

"A beautiful place for our grown family to congregate. Easy commute to Tanglewood, a pool to keep us cool, and a wonderful kitchen to cook in. There are lots of other houses within view but not bothersome. Had a great stay here."

"Our group of 7 women had a great time in the house. Beautiful property. Nice view of the Hudson. Lots of amenities. Well stocked kitchen. Cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine. Lots of room for us to spread out and to hang out together in the living room and enjoy a meal in the dining room. We would definitely stay again. "

"The house is best for a small family that can be active and not worry about hurting the interior. The property is pretty especially the open fields across the street where an evening walk is lovely. House was well stocked and comfortable ."

We reached out with some questions before our stay and never received a response, many of the outlets didn’t work and the house could have used an extra cleaning before we arrived but overall we had a great time. "Everything about this property makes it a wonderful get-away … gorgeous woodland and trails on property, quiet and remote but with all the comforts of a spacious home. The barn renovation is perfect - the right balance of original charm and modern amenities. The hot tub and sauna, and outdoor fire pit, made it a 100% fun and relaxing weekend for my family. This property truly is a slice of paradise! "

"We were happy to see there was a full sized kitchen beautifully renovated with a back door to the nice back yard in addition to the wonderful bedroom accommodations. Lots of nice amenities plus antique furnishings but updated baths, just lovely. My only suggestions is more pillows."

"Nice host and home! The owner was very responsive when i pointed out a minor issue in the bathroom. We took off one star because, as a group, we felt the cleaning fee was too high, especially considering you are required to clean before you leave."

"Super convenient to the show grounds which was the #1 draw for the house. We didn't realize there was no washer dryer - but not the end of the world with laundry service close by. House manager was great - very responsive. "

"The castle house is fantastic. Spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped. There is no meal you can't craft from this kitchen. The house is super quiet,the beds are comfy, towels plush...close to Great Barrington. I can't say enough good things. Book it."

"Some friends and I wanted to get out into the woods during the fall colors and decided to make it a friends-giving. We had a really lovely time here with lots of room for games, cooking, hot tubing and sitting around the fire. The weekend was perfect with the exception of a little power outage in the area. Nothing the host could do about that, but there was no response to any of the lines available for help. We eventually got help the next morning, but it was too late, as we'd already called...

"If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at Bluebird Farmhouse. It is so charming with wonderful artwork throughout this warm and comfortable home. A beautiful setting with a very well equipped home providing everything you need. We were in town for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this special farmhouse!!"

"What a property! Picturesque pictures, room for the whole family and then some. Wonderful kitchen and fireplace, fully stocked with wood and starter. The kids love the game room with fully stocked board games, card games, and outdoor toys for all kids and adults. Host was very responsive to any questions I had! Would definitely and will most likely stay again"

"Beautiful views of the river and was close to all. Place was a bit dusty and the larger bedroom had a very hard bed. Owner was kind and communicative."

"Fantastic place to stay! So homey, comfortable, and peaceful. Steven was a fabulous host, and his property is wonderful - in a beautiful garden. The room is large and beyond well equipped. No reason to pay more to stay downtown Hudson. We’re on a month-long New England road trip, and this has been our favorite stay! "

"Didn’t like that there are no trays in shower to hold any soaps or bottles while washing… nothing!!! Tub too high for elderly with slightest arthritis. No curtain on shower bathroom window. Took quite a while to get hot water to wash hands in sink. However, the inn is filled with amazing collectibles. The dinner was delicious. Plenty of seats but gave us a table facing wall (but near window) —why not more in middle of room area with more interesting view! And same table for breakfast and dinner until we requested a different table the 2nd time. Friendly service. Twin beds very comfortable better if Full size. Happy to have 2 chairs in room. Wouldn’t stay again due to bathroom issues. "
