"We had a truly wonderful stay! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Just a short distance away, we found a charming town with delightful shops, great restaurants, and a lovely playground. The neighborhood was peaceful, and across the street, we enjoyed watching the beautiful horses – such a serene and enjoyable touch to our stay. Highly recommend!"

"It was a little chilly but Dirk gave us extra blankets and provided plenty of fire wood. He recommended the best local breakfast joint and gave us hiking trail suggestions. Dirk was a wonderful host. Can’t wait to come back in the summer"

"The cabin was very clean and had everything that me and my teenage daughter needed for our stay. The fridge was a perfect size for our drinks and fit any leftovers from our unfinished dinners. There is a coffee pot with coffee and filters for you to use. Coffee mugs were provided along with plenty of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels. "The keys were not left out like they were supposed to be. Another group in a different cabin also did not have a key left out for them. Thankfully, a door was left unlocked so that we could get in (which is horribly unsafe). I tried to contact the host about the keys and never got a response. It was pretty bad all around. Wish I could get my money back. "

"This place is exactly what me and my cousins were looking for for a fun girls weekend! Ms. Vicki was so hospitable and sweet. She made us feel right at home and like family! The property is so secluded and fun to explore. There are so many cool things to find in the creek and the woods. It felt like a beautiful mountain oasis. "What’s not to like? This is a great property for some nature connection that I needed. The owner was very nice and helpful as I had never visited this area. The property is clean and well kept. I basically fished for several hours in the morning/early afternoon on the Hiwassee River and then sat on the front porch and watch deer and other wildlife on the property. "
