"Fern House is beautiful house set in lush rainforest. Everything we could possibly want was there. We spent a lot of time just hanging out on the extensive balcony, and our boys loved the upstairs retreat area with its musical instruments. I would -*highly* recommend a couple of nights here on your East Coast travels and certainly better than staying in Mission Beach which is full of construction. Despite being so remote, the prices at the cafe are very reasonable and the food and drinks are great quality. Spacious rooms, lovely communal areas, good bathrooms.
