"We went in the bar for pre dinner drinks and tried to pay on the room and were informed this is not possible which was a shame and not usual for this type of hotel. Time for dinner was prebooked and we arrived and we’re shown to our table. Food was lovely but whole meal was spoilt at the end when my husband ordered a liquer coffee. The hotel has great facilities but we didn't make use of them this time round due to other plans in the city which is just a few minutes away by cab. Lovely country pub serving delicious food too. Handy having the Lidl across the road too.
