The property is approximately 2 miles from town and civil war museums. It is rural but with neighboring houses along the road, and within city limits. The main roads route 45 and 72 are very close as is a state of the art hospital.. The house is surrounded with a meadow and forests allowing for occasional glimpses of deer and foxes. There is a meadow near by with sheep. The next door neighbor is quiet but can be of help if needed (with questions).This is ideal for people who love peace and quiet and would like a place to walk their dog.. There is a fee of$25.0 per pet. The Tv is T- Moble internet with a speed of 4 GB 5 is not available at this location yet.

Visiting for wedding in Mississippi
We rented the place based on pictures and previous 5 star reviews, and it was quiet and remote... although the picture is a bit misleading as this is a back house to another property so there is a house right next door. But other than that it was clean, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. For Seniors (which we are) be aware that it has a claw foot tub and shower so you have to be very careful getting in and out.

Restful Getaway!
This little cottage was just perfect to serve as home base for a near by class reunion! The owners put extra effort into giving it a "homey" feel. It is chocked full of lovely home furnishings and art work. It was very enjoyable!

Looking for peace and quiet....find it here.
My wife and I have rented several places in various parts of the USA and without a doubt this is the best place yet. It is so quiet and peaceful and if you are looking for a serene place then this is it. The cutest little cottage and the owner/host Marla is so accommodating and friendly. This is a hidden jewel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, We will definetly be back!
