Fantastic Stay
I would give 10 stars if I could! Location and view are great. Owners are very accommodating and great people. They went far and above beyond expectations. Breakfasts were outstanding. The biggest compliment I can give is to say we are coming back! Thanks Kath & Scott for making our trip to Maine so enjoyable!

We arrived as strangers meeting strangers. Within a few hours, we were friends. Within two days, we just loved Scott and Kath! This was the most delightful stay we have ever had. They love to cook and do it well! Breakfast was awesome both days, I wish I could share the pictures! Our first day, Scott took us for a walk up a nearby hill for a view that was breath taking. Our room was comfy cozy, the house was friendly and welcoming. After a long day, we sat in the living room and enjoyed a movie on a huge tv, it was so relaxing. There are no negatives here. I highly recommend enjoying a stay here. My only regret is it's a six hour drive, but I'm already plannng to go for a longer stay, just to be there!

Yummy!
Cath and Scott were fantastic hosts. This was a true bed and breakfast stay. We had a good room and even better food. They were very pleasant and accommodating. We would absolutely stay with them again just for the cooking alone. The bananas foster and homemade bagels were the best!

My girlfriend is gluten free and they went out of their way to make that option available for us. They also had homemade options for me as well.

Home Cooking and Spectacular Views
We much enjoyed our stay with Kathy and Scott. Their 20-acre spread is really off the beaten path, but the uphill drive to their home is well worth the time and effort. They look out over rolling hills with narry another home in sight (actually one). And Kathy is not bragging when she says that the best "restaurant" in Cornish is at 314 Pease Hill Road.

A GEM of a spot with even better hosts!!
Let me start with, WOW. This place is amazing, and the hosts, Kath and Scott, are the sweetest people I've ever met, and the best hosts I've ever had while traveling. Their place is a bit off the beaten path, but the views are amazing from their home and you have the benefit of stillness, peace, and beauty all from their back deck. Kath said to me over and over, "I want you to feel like your home here", and she does a fantastic job making her home an extension for visitors. Kath and Scott love to cook and my partner and I received the benefit of tasting a few great homemade meals while we stayed! It's a beautiful thing when traveling and human connection come together, and when I think back on my first ever trip to Maine, I'll always think of Kath and Scott as part of it. Thank you again for having us, we'd love to return in the future! 💖

Quiet, remote Bed and Breakfast
The home was very large. Our room was spacious. There is construction still taking place but that did not affect our stay. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The view from the back deck is amazing and the food was delicious!

Secluded and restful with amazing views
Kath and Scot were friendly and accommodating but went out of their way to allow us to visit with each other without any intrusion. They let us use the apartment space when it was not rented-and we stayed up till 1am laughing-but not feeling like we were bothering anyone else. We enjoyed homemade bagels 1 morning and homemade french toast the next. Yum!! The views were georgous-mountainsides, distant lakes, changing leaves, wide open skies. They are in the process of further renovation so some switches didn’t have switchplates yet, the front of the house was primed white (instead of the wood-look in the picture), and other little projects were mid-stride. However, the price was very reasonable and the accommodations were comfortable. Our little group of friends got lost in conversation in several locations throughout the house and out in the yard-and the atmosphere encouraged that- like having friends over to your own place:“welcome to their home.”

Unique stay while attending a wedding
The house is very remote, but it was close to the wedding venue. The view from the kitchen and deck are amazing! Scott was a very accommadating host! Our room was different than expected because his wife was ill, but was accecptable. Scott made us amazing breakfasts both days we were there. The food itself, made this a very reasonable cost plus enjoyed listening to Scott's life experiences.

Great stay
Scott and Cath were wonderful hosts. They're both professional cooks so their breakfasts were great. The spot is very rural, although only 45 minutes or so from Portland. It was calming and beautiful with a vista on the back porch of the Maine mountains. Lovely!

Work in Progress
Kath and Scott have only been at it for a couple years, and those are during the pandemic years., which in itself is a challenge they met head on. They are updating and renovating as time allows and progress is showing. We are eager to visit again in the future and see how far they have come. Pleasant, delightful and accommodating hosts in a location off the beaten path, which allows for scenic views and very welcomed peace and quiet.

Work in progress
We had a great stay with Kath and Scott. It was exactly what we were looking for - off the beaten path, lots of snowshoeing and snow hiking nearby. The idea is fantastic - a room in a home with 2 chefs! The breakfasts were amazing. However they are undergoing some construction and now might not be the best time. Only one working bathroom for 6 people was ok for us, but might not be what some people are looking for. When the additions are done - this will be a real treat!

This is a beautiful old property being lovingly restored by the owners! I stayed in the apartment and had complete privacy. The homemade meals are the best, with tremendous variety. Lots of space to get out to snowshoe, weather permitting!

this is an owner occupied B&B so no actual check in. Got greeted at the door by the owner, and got showed to our room. Once there, treated like family. The breakfast was amazing , homemade bagels, french toast on homemade bread, the conversations around the table were friendly and interesting. Our room was comfy and cozy, just so happened it was a brand new bed. Kath and Scott are real down to earth and friendly.I am definitely going to book again next year.

Outstanding Hospitality
To say Kath and Scott welcomed me into their home and made me feel welcome would be a bit of an understatement. That they offer a "Bed and Breakfast" is really only technically accurate. From the mountain of french toast (made with home made bread) topped with fresh home made caramel sauce on my first morning to the "brown bag breakfast" that didn't fit in my carry-on my final morning when I departed before everyone was up and going, I always felt welcomed. And not just in a paying guest sort of way. Conversation was easy and enjoyable. My accommodations were exceptionally comfortable and private. Kath had the children of their other guests in her kitchen making bread, jellies, and home made marinara sauce. The first evening I was there, while we were all visiting, and they asked me what time I wanted breakfast, Kath mentioned, almost in an off-hand way, that if I leave hungry from her table, it would be my fault, not hers. That sums up my culinary experience. But, the whole experience goes far beyond that. We visited more like old friends that see each other occasionally, catching up on the comings and goings of our lives. They went far above and beyond anything I would have expected to have received. The next time I have the opportunity to travel to anywhere within an hour's drive of Cornish, I will definitely be making my reservation to stay with Kath and Scott again... as long as this gem remains relatively unknown and they aren't booked solid!

My girlfriend and I stayed with Kath and Scott for a night. Wonderfully comfortable bed, very spacious room, absolutely gorgeous mountain-top type view, and incredible hosts. Kath and Scott really welcome you into their home. We arrived late at night (little past midnight), and Scott very kindly stayed up late to show us to our room (with a quick tour). For breakfast Kath cooked us up some delicious pancakes, grits, ham, and eggs. Absolutely wonderful stay, wish we could have stayed longer. 10/10

A special and memorable stay
We were looking for a restful place in the Sebago region to celebrate my wife’s birthday. This place in Cornish Maine was a real find. Wonderful view. The host couple, Kath and Scott, are both chefs and we had exceptional breakfasts. We were treated like family and this couple made us feel so welcome. We look forward to visiting again.

Rustic and Very Comfortable
Our stay here was as pleasant as could be. The home is very rustic and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The home is located in the woods a bit but this is Maine. You do however end up with a view for miles and miles and I can only imagine what the fall is like! Kath and Scott are extremely accommodating and will go above and beyond to make your stay worthwhile. I recommend paying for the breakfast here as it is top notch and well worth the price. Thanks for a fabulous stay! Dale and Al
