The property was located near the place where we needed to conduct business. We were Told that there were no rooms available on the first floor due to remodeling but there was no construction going during our stay. The halls were not airconditioned, however, our room was cool but the air conditioner was loud. There was hair (not ours) on the shower mat and bathroom floor. When making our reservations, we were told that there were only two rooms left, however, there were only five cars in the parking lot at our first night's stay. The free breakfast was pitiful. It certainly did not meet the criteria for the cost.

I like the indoor swimming pool. It would be nice if the water was warmer. Our First room was humid and air conditioner wasn't working right. Moved us to another room. This room was clean and comfortable. We had to reqy them to fill the dispensers in the bathroom. The shampoo and bath soap dispenser were filled, but the conditioner dispenser was left empty. Breakfast was so, so. Not bad not as good as similar competitors. I would stay their again if I can get a room for $99.00. I would not pay more than $104.OO. Staff were helpful and accommodating.

The hotel overall seemed nice from the outside, once in our room it smelled like wet dogs. We also had roaches in our room and found some fleas on the coffee cups. My husband also stepped on an open safety pin in the carpet. We would’ve have packed our things if left if we could’ve. But we stuck it out for our one night stay.

The beds are so-so for comfort. I had to kill a roach on the second night. It was humid in the hotel despite dehumidifiers in the halls. Our non-smoking room smelled smoky upon arrival. The biggest issue was the gap in the door to the room. The hall is kept lit with light of 1000 burning suns, and the light came in all the way around the door. I had to put a towel at the base and hang one over part of the door the best I could to keep the light a little less bright. Otherwise, staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. We did not use the pool or gym.

The property is under some heavy reconstruction. This makes the lobby and walkways very ugly. The rooms are excellent. The pool was cold Warning Mosquitos are everywhere!

Hotel room was clean and ready when we got there. Staff was very friendly and attentive. There was remodeling going on but did not interfere with our rest. Read rooms are only cleaned every other day, did expect my room to be made/cleaned every day including taking out trash. When requested for additional toilet paper we had to physically go downstairs for it.

I arrived around 9 p.m.and the checking in the hotel was an hour wait! Then in the morning, I could not eat breakfast as there was construction occurring from the remodel, so there were not a lot of tables to sit to enjoy my food! So could not get anything to eat!

The hotel was under renovation construction, to the point that it was difficult to check in. If I had known this in advance I would have booked a different hotel. The staff was indifferent and basically stated that it says they are under construction on their website. It certainly was not on the Hotels.com site.

The property had construction going on, on the inside of the hotel, so it had a constant smell of paint and something else like drywall, and I couldn't figure out the last odor I’d smell, but it was all related to the construction going on inside the building. The room was nice, and everything worked well. I wish the room was a bit more lite, for it was kinda dim for my taste, unless you turned on every lamp. Overall it was a pleasant stay. It’s about 15-20 minutes from Corpus Christi, but I honestly thought it’d be closer. It’s worth staying at though.

When I booked this property, it did not say that it was under construction. It did not say that the business center was closed. It said all amenities were available. That’s false advertisement. I was very disappointed with this property. The room was very dusty and the bed was itchy.
