Within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores , library and 50 acre park . Located a 20 minute drive from entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. Quiet neighborhood at end of street.

The space:
The property borders a 50 acre park with a recreation center. Walk, run,, swim, lift weights, take classes such as yoga , dance , Tai Chi, and spin. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood yet a short walk from restaurants , drug stores and grocery store.

Guest access:
The home is divided into two separate living spaces , one for the host and one for the guests. Both have separate private entrances. Both are self contained units with their own kitchens , bathrooms and bedrooms. A utility room separates these two spaces to act as a noise and privacy barrier.

Interaction with guests:
The guest do not have to have interaction with host . Host is open to meeting guests and letting them know about the area if they are interested in doing so. Guests can call host on phone if want information on need help with anything.

Other things to note:
Host is a licensed Massage Therapist with the State of Colorado. Jeff has been doing massage for 16 years in private practice and 5 star motels. Extensive experience in Swedish , Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, and Thai Massage. Prices are $75.00 for 60 minutes and $95.00 for 90 minutes.

Comfortable and convenient place
Comfortable place that met our needs. We had no issues with Communication with the owner. We were caught off guard when we came in the second night and found out that he stayed there on the property in a camper right outside the garage. We were never bothered by him but just wanted to make sure to be aware of this. Overall a good place to stay when you are traveling to see mesa Verda national park.

One of the best places we've stayed.
My wife and I couldn't have asked for anything more. This place was very clean and in a great neighborhood. There was a big public park out the back gate that was great for an evening walk. There were two grocery stores with in ten minutes drive, and so many restaurant options with in that same ten minutes you wouldn't even need a grocery store. Hidden gem, lovely host
We had a wonderful stay at David's place. The house had absolutely everything we needed and we felt immediately at home. David was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed over our stay. The house was perfect for our monthly getaway: a lot of space, good internet and very comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity with many national and state parks ( lots to do within a 3h drive!). The city of Cortez is big enough to offer some diversity of restaurants, there is a huge park next to the house to take a walk and Mesa Verde and the Sand Canyon are half an hour away. Definitely recommend!

I enjoyed my stay! It was quiet, located only a few miles from Mesa Verde National Park, and nearby a wonderful downtown area in Cortez. Clean and homey made for a comfortable stay.

Perfect for Mesa Verde and Monument Valley!
This Neat well supplied small home in Cortez, was perfect for our Mesa Verde and Monument Valley explorations. The owner (Jeff) was very friendly, had many treats in store at the kitchen (oil! Salt pepper even some essentials we used!) the owner also had many handy brochures of all the surrounding attractions that made our stay and our planning easier. One day we actually saw the owner (who stayed in his private trailer parked adjacent to the house facing the back part of the property) so we had complete privacy on the front side of the house. We stayed a total of 3 days there and we even saw deer peacefully walking at the far end of the street towards the park behind… just lovely. The house sits very near the main hwy close to a Walmart and all the fast foods you may need to keep you well supplied. The host answers promptly, we had no issues during our stay. Thank you for this fun home away from home.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean, had all the essential things, and was a comfortable size for our family. The kitchen was bright and functional. The coffee was great! Arrival communication was a struggle, but our stay went very smoothly after we gained access. We really appreciated the clothes drying rack in the closet after a visit to the local laundromat and nearby aquatic center.

Perfect home to stay in
