However, overall it was a disappointing experience for a 5* hotel, as it simply was not a 5* experience; same breakfast every day and often running out of items, tapas restaurant was very poor value for money with insufficient staff to run it, no pool service or extra pool towels available, you need a car as there is no beach access and no regular shuttle service, also at the beach there are no beds arranged for hotel guests. Would not recommend spending a week...

"La location est suffisamment grande pour un couple avec 3 enfants. Il y avait une machine a laver et lave vaisselle et un four. La terrasse est agréable. La residence n est pas entretenue au niveau des espaces vert et chemin au sein de la residence. Il y a 2 piscines. Une grande et une petite avec un profondeur de 1,10m idéale pour les enfants. Les plages sont a 10-15 minutes en voiture. On a 15 minutes du port de calvi. Il y a un spar et boulangerie a moins de 5 minutes en voiture."

We were very early in the season so many preparations and improvements were taking place, so we feel it would have been even better a little later into the month. "What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again. "
