"Stunning place! We arrived on foot directly from a quite challenging few days hiking in the stunning mountains behind Grandma's house, and Ciprian's welcome to this heavenly spot, in his lovely little traditional style house, was very warm. Its position is really outstanding and exactly as described - the views are wonderful, the house is surrounded by fields and wildflowers, we loved sitting on the balcony and at the outside table by the barbecue. The house is very comfortable and well equipped...

"Incredible views, peace and quiet in a rural out of the way location. Very romantic and private. It does not have the A/C, if it’s important to you, but the temperature in the mountains is cooler than the rest of the country and you may even find yourself reaching for a sweater in the evening when outside. Great hiking, biking and horse riding available in the village. Breakfast is plentiful (and included) made of a daily local meat and cheese platter, country bread, vegetables, and fresh eggs....

"Everything went well, but the cleaning cost seems a bit high and at no point during the booking process I was aware of it. It came as a surprise after booking was confirmed. I felt that this is a bit dishonest and just a money grab! "

"I stayed here only 2 nights. the place itself is beautiful overlooking the mountain . Place was clean and vey comfortable. breakfast is very good and so is dinner. Now for the negative no receptionist to welcome you. If you go late you stay outside. Too many bus loads of hikers stay there and they are catered to 1st Since i did not get a paper of when to check out i did not know. If you want to stay an extra day and pay they will not accommodate. They open pool at 11:00a when people...

"We stayed in the Suite, which had a big bedroom for us and a smaller one for the kids. The architecture and decorations resemble Transylvanian roots with a modern touch. We loved the pressed artwork and wished we could buy one to take home :). The pillows, bedsheets and towels were high quality. And the shower head had all sorts of "massaging modes" that were amazing after a hike. Same attention to detail is showcased throughout the property. The spa had a fairly warm indoor swimming pool, with fountains on one side and two metal chairs with whirlpool on the other side. It also had a dry sauna, a wet sauna, and a salt room which was an interesting addition that you don't normally find in many retreats. The stay came with free breakfast which had a buffet of cold cuts as well as on-demand warm egg-based options. The restaurant is where they should probably invest a bit more. While the food looked beautiful, it was just ok and the staff wasn't super helpful (except for one wonderful woman, whose name we forgot but wanted to leave a huge thank you note). We waited for quite some time for the menus, then for the food, and finally for the check. While the chef was able to accommodate our daughter's allergies, the options were very limited, so beware in case you have allergies too. One warning is regarding the road to the resort - one lane dirt-road. Also, good to know, there is no fridge, no microwave, no iron, no AC."

Too many bus loads of hikers stay there and they are catered to 1st Since i did not get a paper of when to check out i did not know. If you want to stay an extra day and pay they will not accommodate. They open pool at 11:00a when people check out!!! so nobody uses as it closes 8:00p at night. So after a tiring day at the castles pool is closed. They must get more staff and they should be more nicer to the solo travelers not just the bus loads. "
