"The house is a good size and a friendly layout. Beds are queen sized and they’re on south side of house so it gets wonderful sunlight in the mornings. Kitchen has everything you would need for a short stay if you choose the cook. Location is a very short walk to the River and Downtown - perfect for walking dogs, people watching and shops and restaurants. Accuracy note: the location of the house is misrepresented in the Pinon online app but the address is correct and easily found using...

"The house itself is very interesting. The only issue we had was the temperature - two small window units plus the swamp cooler were not enough to cool the large home. Like another reviewer, we are from Texas and were pretty miserable. Canon City was HOT during the day and nothing could keep up. The upstairs was especially warm. The great things: location - easy walk to restaurants, ice cream parlor and shopping; train - it's parked behind the house; deer - had a large group of deer hanging...

"We had a great experience, and we’re so happy to find a clean place that also allows us to bring our dog! The managers were so friendly, we had an issue with the t.v and reached out in the evening. They responded so quickly and brought a new tv over the next day! We highly recommend this property. There were even games available to play with our family! "

"It was a delightful, quiet escape in the mountains. The cabin has everything. We enjoyed hiking just outside the door. Sitting on the deck, we were buzzed by humming birds, and watched dozens of wild turkeys in the meadows. It is a comfortable space to relax. We were able to view the Perseids meteor shower in the night sky. Great place for a peaceful retreat !"

"Nice property "

"The property is a very nice little house, perfect for groups of 6-8, or 5 if no sleeping partners. The back yard is a great retreat, with plenty chairs, a nice patio family table, andboth a fire pit and a standard grill for outdoor cooking. Only thing to be careful if is that the house is older, so the stairs are fairly shallow and steep. As long as no one in your party has issues with stairs, I'd recommend this property and will look to stay there again on any future trips to Salida."
