Perfect stopover, clean, friendly & nice breakfast
Perfect stopover on our way to/from ski holiday. Peaceful surroundings, clean comfortable rooms and secure parking just outside our room which was very convenient. Everyone very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was a nice selection with fresh breads and local honey. The pool patio looked nice so we want to come back in the summer!

Simple, clean, hotel....
This hotel has wonderful staff. We booked late in the day for a same day stay and they tried to reach us by phone. Our phone was not working but they stayed on site until we arrived. The hotel is super clean, has comfortable beds, and the shower has great water pressure. The beds were comfortable and we had no complaints. Would stay again without hesitation. Did not try breakfast. Wifi worked well and the area around the hotel is pleasant.

Very Nice One Nighter
Like a simple US motel, but with a great breakfast. (Some of the jams were made on site from the fruits of trees lining the sides.) Be aware that there is an extra charge for the breakfast, but it was worth it. We enjoyed the pool. Didn't try the restaurant. Staff was very nice; receptionists spoke English. Not much going on nearby; this was just a one nighter between Paris and Dijon. Would come again gladly.

Convenient Stopover
We used this hotel en route to Spain, the staff were very friendly, some spoke excellent English and others made a huge effort and I could effectively communicate with my limited French! Pool was great for our 10 year old, food at both dinner and breakfast was good. The room was small, a little bit dated in the bathroom and lack of air con made it a little uncomfortable however no complaints because we knew what we were getting. If you want 5* luxury this isn't the place for you, if you want somewhere clean and comfortable with good staff for a stopover then this place is just right for the price!

Recommended hotel
Was gonna stay just one night. But got trouble with my Motorcycle, so spent a few days. An incredible helpful and friendly staff, way more than I ever could have expected. Chilling by the (clean) pool, in the sun, is not a bad way to spend a day. Breakfast was simple, but OK. The restaurant is excellent. The hotel is in general good condition. Clean rooms, with parking just outside. A bit slow wifi. The hotel is easy to find, and to drive to.

Nice hotel great setting.
Our 2nd stay at the Hermes, Staff speaks some English, hotel restaurant is very nice. Good food and the continental breakfast is very good. The pool area is very nice also. An enjoyable experience all around, and a very good deal for the price. Quick access to the Burgundy region and Close to Dijon. No air conditioning in the rooms, too warm in the summer, typical for France and not enough of a problem to be an issue.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel, handy for the autoroute, and pleasant, helpful friendly staff- you can park outside your room, the pool is great after a long drive and you can order a meal and eat poolside.

Adequate for our trip
This was a clean, friendly place to stay. It was a little off the beaten track, but once we found it we were happy enough with our stay. There were no tea or coffee making facilities, and it was too far from anything to go and buy our own.

Relaxed stay
We stayed for one night en route to Calais from Provence and the accommodation was fine for that. The bedrooms are laid out motel style and are well away from the road which is lightly used anyway, however no aircon meant it was pretty hot in the rooms. It was 38c when we arrived and we ate outside around the decent sized pool which was being well used and overall a good ambience. The food was very good (145 Euros for 5 including drinks). Overall the staff were pleasant and helpful although one seemed to be wishing he was somewhere else! Breakfast was continental with a good choice on offer and a very attentive lady on hand.Overall a painless stay and good value.

LOW END HOTEL
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, by late arrival after 9pm it is recommendable to check if someone will be there, luckily I did, they closed the reception at 9:00pm the evening I arrived. I will not use this Hotel anymore. The people running the hotel and restaurant are not friendly.

good half way stop
The parking is good, the restaurant was good,we didn't arrive till 9,but they stayed open for us,we had duck and steak, both under cooked for us but the chef re cooked a bit more and was lovely.A nice chiil out pool area. The only down side was our room,no,19,,didn't have anywhere to hook the shower, told girl on desk the next morning she seem surprised!.If you get noisy people next door like we did in room 20 who let there children run up and down in the morning, then its loud,,theres this funny design off a glass corridor that runs along out side the hotel doors so the sound travels.but would recommend to any one looking for a cheap clean place to stay the night half way to the south of france.x

Hermes Bourgogne in Couchey
The accommodation is in cabins behind the main building, not what I expected but ok. The rooms were basic but clean, the bed was comfortable but they need to buy some new pillows, or provide extra. There was one each and they were worn out. The swimming pool area is very nice. The restaurant is ok and open till 10 which was a bonus with pleasant efficient staff. It's close to all the Burgundy wine villages and Beaune so we enjoyed exploring the area so a good location for that. Overall it was fine and very good value we thought.

On a main thru road but not overly noisy
Unless going back into the major centre (Dijon) or travelling for quite a few kms it was difficult to find a local restaurant that was open. This forces the visitor to eat at the hotel. My not be aproblem for some, but we wanted to experience more of the local offerings. It is a quiet hotel, clean rooms, in a motel style layout. Facilities are acceptable for the std of hotel and the room is well priced for what is offered. The staff were helpful and responded well to our various needs, including making phone calls for us (at a small reasonable charge). Breakfast was an additional charge and seemed quite worth the extra. Yes, we recommend it.
