"We actually booked this as a Half way point Ish lol. On a Trip up to Nairn. There is No question that it’s a great Value option and the Staff were very accommodating. We were suprised on Both occasions that we had to pay a £5 Car parking charge but that apparently was part of the booking as we booked through Expedia. The rooms were fresh and clean but Dated. "Lovely hotel, staff were so friendly and attentive, check in was easy and parking was ample. The room was decorated beautifully and we were happy with the street view. Close to town, easy to walk around and go out for a drink or coffee nearby. I will say, the bathroom was disappointing - there was hair in the shower and it was dirty so that was a bit off putting. Also, the bed was two singles bolted together but the bolt at the head of the bed had fallen off so it separated during the night...

"We received a very warm welcome by the duty managers. They were very understanding when we requested a later check in as we were traveling all the way from Inverness. Nothing was a problem at all. We stayed for two nights and breakfast both mornings was amazing. Thoroughly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. We will definitely be back when we can. "

"Staff extremely helpful under tricky conditions. With storm we had no electricity from 8am on 24th and still not connected this morning when I left. Staff put on a log stove in Bistro,managed to do teas n coffees on small gas heater, supplied good battery lamps for each resident, Manager even carefully drove in evening into part of Lanark with power and brought back a meal for an older person staying for BnB, She would not take money for that. Ever staff member there did much more that needed...
