"The property was perfect for our short 2-night stay to visit Zoo de Beauval and Chenonceau. The house was clean, well-appointed and comfy with plenty of games for the children. The only things lacking are WiFi and a washing machine but we knew this when we booked. After our days out we relaxed, dined and watched the sunset in the beautiful garden. "The owner Jeanne-Claire is absolutely lovely and wants everything to be as easy, comfortable and relaxing as possible for her guests. She was so helpful and responsive every time we needed anything and it was a always a pleasure to chat and find out about the chateau and it’s history and the area. "This was a great base for a couple of nights to explore part of the Loire Valley..The little village about 3 km away - Chaumont-Sur-Loire - has several good restaurants, and other shops. The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, and well equipped. The only thing lacking during the hot weather was a fan, so we decided to buy one at the supermarket, (which we have now also used at our next accommodation) Lino was very welcoming and we would happily stay again."

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. The gracious hotel manager, Ms. Lucie Jarry, personally welcomed us and provided an exclusive introduction to this magnificent property, leaving an indelible impression on us from the start. We stayed in the family two-story suite, which was not only perfectly suited to our family of four but also an absolute delight. The spacious layout, thoughtful design, and playful charm made it an unforgettable part of our stay. The hotel’s thoughtfulness was truly exceptional. Prior to our arrival, we mentioned that it was our daughter’s 10th birthday. "Very clean but room by road noisy. Fantasy forest to walk dog, however when checked in asked for 5 e extra each pet, cat and dog making 10e already expensive for a budget et lol. Television suddenly came on and there was no remote, reported in morning who said there should have been one! Food places in fridge. Friendly staff easy check in "
