A beautiful historic hotel in a picturesque welsh town. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Only complaint is the room was a bit hot and stuffy, even with the window open.

Comfy hotel, good location to explore the area.
Great stay, good location to explore the area. Free parking, good Wi-Fi, good breakfast. The bed was a a little soft but personal preference. The hotel had everything we needed for a comfy family stay. Staff were also all very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Just checked out after a 2 day stay, great location and good value for money. Staff are excellent friendly and helpful. 20 mins from morpha nefyn for golf so perfect if you want a good location and a good brekfast to start the day. Well done Lion Hotel, very happy

Good points: the location and the parking area, the politeness of the staff. The cleanliness of the room with convenient sockets. I appreciated the fact that at least a few of the staff spoke Welsh (my first language). Bad points: the bed was the most uncomfortable of the 3 hotels in which I stayed this holiday. Perhaps my experience might have been different if I'd paid for a better room.

No available food on a Monday and no restaurant in use for evening meals Staff all excellent and helpful and bar food was very good Noise from room above us was disappointing and sounded like people walking on bare floorboards Overall the hotel was good to very good
