"Property is quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained. Enjoyed the sounds of the river, the deck and swimming hole, and relaxing by the fire (propane) in the evenings. Great location for accessing the river in different spots, the lake, and Duncan. Very comfortable bed and pillows, wish I always slept that well. Highly recommend. Hope to be back."

"Great character property in a really good location. Easy driving to Butchart and the Butterfly pavilion. Lots of good restaurants in walking distance and a good supermarket. Bus into Victoria was a breeze. "

"We had a lovely stay at Eagle Rock. Pauline’s place is extremely clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and games area. The highlight for our family was the upper deck with stunning views for morning coffee, family meals and games or evening soaks in the hot tub observing the stars. Looking forward to returning! "

"Loved the Old McDonald's farm vibe. Goats! Chickens! Ducks! Orchards! Lee was so welcoming and easy going. We stayed in the RV, which was roomy for the two of us and well-appointed, incl outlets near the bed for overnight charging. Chose the bunk bed cubby over the Queen size bed and slept like a baby. Unfortunately we didn't know we were going to stay in the RV, which is uninsulated, so weren't quite dressed warm enough. Also, communicating before arrival was difficult; we didn't know that...

"Everything about this house was wonderful but you need to know there are steep steps inside and out. I didn’t realize there was not a picture of the front of the house. We were two couples all in our 70s. The stairs were a problem for some of us. Especially when bringing in heavy suitcases. Also the two bedrooms are on the main floor but one of the bathrooms was downstairs, again a problem. This would be a great house for younger people with kids. "This was a wonderful place to stay. It had everything we needed and was incredibly clean. The location was close enough to anything we needed and several prime tourist destinations, but far enough away that it was silent at night. We loved watching the bunnies in the morning and the bats at dusk. The nearby beach was a delight. I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking. "

"Really lovely property and would happily rebook in the future. Home is well set up and very comfortable. Loved the big kitchen, fireplace and setup of the deck. Views were incredible no matter the time of day, and we were on the deck or staring out the bay window nearly the whole time. The neighborhood has some great trails snaking through it down to the bay, and walks and runs in the area were great. Basics for shopping were close by, and about a 30 min drive into downtown Victoria. "
