Seahorse Villa: luxury estate with 75’ infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean

Culebra is located between Puerto Rico's northeastern coast and St. Thomas USVI. There are flights available from Isla Grande Airport, Ceiba Airport or Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. Also, you can access the island via ferry from Ceiba, PR.

This furnished oceanfront house is located on a 1 acre property that extends over the protected natural reserve beach of Punta Melones, one of the best beaches for snorkeling in Culebra island. You can experience spectacular sunsets from the 75' infinity pool which overlooks Vieques island, Cayo Luis Peña, the mountains of Puerto Rico and the entrance to the island.

It has 4 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, laundry, AC in all rooms and living areas, 2 fully equipped kitchens, a large pantry and big balconies and terraces. All rooms have ocean view. The house is approximately 10 minutes walking distance to the beach and very close to town and restaurants.

This is a two (2) level home with two separate gazebos:

First floor (entrance) is a fully equipped kitchen, with two 33-bottle wine coolers, large pantry with double oven and 1 full bathroom; all spaces with A/C. Dining room that seats 10 people, adjacent to the living room with SAT/Dish and DVD player. Complete with a large balcony overlooking the ocean with 2 tables, a bar stool table, a lounge chair, large sofa and a gas barbecue.

Downstairs are 4 bedrooms (all with A/C), including 2 master suites: 1st master suite with a king size bed, TV, a private bathroom and a chaise lounge; 2nd master bedroom with a king size bed, mini fridge and microwave, a private bathroom and TV. The third bedroom has 2 bunk beds (both with full size beds and single beds on top, sleeps 6), TV and a private bathroom. The fourth bedroom or Studio has a queen size bed, a private bathroom, 2 sofas, a TV and a fully equipped kitchen.

Also, the laundry facilities are on the first level, a half bathroom in the pool area and outside shower. Every room, terrace, balcony and the infinity pool is overlooking the ocean. Every room has its private entrance.

We require a 3 nights minimum stay. The house has a capacity for up to 12 guests. There is an independent bedroom for baby sitter/maid with a bunk bed (full on bottom and twin on top), microwave, A/C and bathroom NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE.

Our 4th stay in culebra. This place is just as advertised. Amazing views, excellent host with great communication. Even a bottle of wine and a few snacks/groceries to get us started. Best appointed kitchen of any house I've rented ever.. and beautiful diving right out back.. so many great spots in culebra and this house and the view just sucks you in and makes it hard to leave.. thank you Litza!

The view is unbelievable- pictures don’t do it justice. Our family had a great time snorkeling just in front of the home. Some of age best snorkeling we have done! Amazing stay
Litza was a wonderful host and this property was nothing short of spectacular. It easily accommodated our party, ages 3 months to 75 years, with something for everyone at each age. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances (including juicer and blender) and there was a stash of snacks when we arrived. The pool and yard are as fabulous as they look in the photos. One thing that was undersold was the beach. It's an easy downhill walk from the house. The beach itself is rocky (wear shoes) and you need to go out at high tide to avoid damaging the reef which is immediately offshore... but the snorkling was great without any need to get in the car! It was a perfect week all around!!

The property was amazing! Beautiful views, great accomodations. Litza, the owner, was very helpful and generous. She left provisions to get us started for the week. We would have gladly stayed longer. We had a great family vacation. Would highly recommend this property. We visited culebra in March and had beautiful weather. The only downside was there were many mosquitoes. Litza very nicely provided mosquito zappers which helped. Overall, this is a fabulous place and we would love to return!

Just FABULOUS
Grandparents and two children's families with Grandchildren aging from 7 to 16 spent a full week at Seahorse Villa. We should have stayed our full 2 week Puerto Rico vacation here instead of travelling around, packing and unpacking and spending $$ It's incredibly beautiful, private, with every extra we wanted and many we did not expect. Snorkeling just downhill from the house is the best we found on Culebra or Culebrita. There is a bathing beach at Molones but it's not as nice as others that require a drive, not a big deal. Location is on the nain island (do not book on the other side of the bridge from the ferry dock; it's rather run down. Walking to town is a hike on some steep roads, but possible. The host was nice and extremely responsive, unlike other VRBO properties we have encountered. For a family vacation I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this property. It's expensive but it is worth it.

Idyllic Getaway with Incredible Views
Our family especially enjoyed our time in Culebra. Seahorse Villa is exactly as advertised and Litza was a top notch host. We spent our time swimming in the pool, snorkeling at Melones Beach, enjoying the views, and exploring the island. We learned that the best snorkeling was in the water right below the villa. We also hired a chef (Jennifer) for two nights and would highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were sold from the listing, but know that the images do not do this place justice. You have to see it! Amazing property with even more Amazing view
If you are looking for a relaxed, quiet, no hassle vacation at a great property look no further. Litza is the perfect host with the best communication to help coordinate the in and outs of your stay. There isnt alot to do on the island itself but that is the beauty of it. You wont want to leave the property. We recommend Jennifer as youe personal chef and grabbing some beer/wine from the local store and relaxing like we did. There are trips to Culebrita beach and Flamenco beach that are a must. Litza has you covered from every angle. We will definitely do this again as a family.

Fantastic house and Incredible Host!
This property is breathtaking. Pictures do not do it justice. From the second you pull up to the house you are amazed by the architectural layout and beautiful views of this property. The house comes fully stocked with everything you might need for your stay. You truly only need your clothes and groceries. The host goes above and beyond to make this property feel like home. From providing toiletries to surprising us with champagne and strawberries upon arrival. There are snorkeling masks, laundry detergent, floating domino table etc! The house design is incredible. There are 3 separate master suites and an attached kids room. There are horse stables and a room for the nanny. The list goes on and on. A perfect snorkeling beach is just a short walk away. It is paradise. We travelled for a family wedding and other members of the family stayed in a different property. Their experience was awful in comparison to ours although the property looked great in pictures and was priced the same. The location of this house is also very convenient compared to other properties around. We were considering extending our vacation an extra week because we fell in love with this home. We will DEFINITELY be back to seahorse villa. Litza we can not thank you enough! You made our vacation!

Everything that was advertised was right on and the property was even more beautiful than we could’ve ever anticipated. If you think about Greek Island or Baleares, This place is Even Better
The property is amazing, very well equipped. Location and view is breathtaking. Accommodations, pool and amenities are world-class. The beaches are incredible, super beautiful, crystal clear water, sea turtles, coral reef, tons of fishes. Tons of things to do beside relaxing and going to the beach (kayak tours, jet ski tours, boat tours to nearby smaller islands with amazing beaches, good food options if going outside for dinner. Wine Cava with decent selection, few grocery shopping markets. Hiring a professional chef to come do your dinner with local fresh fish, TOUCHE! I will definitively come back, this was an amazing vacation.

Wonderful and Wonderful
This villa is amazing and very well kept. It has all of the amenities you could need for a family getaway, we only wished we had more time to utilize it all. All of the bedrooms were facing the ocean so everyone got to enjoy waking up to a spectacular view. As Culebra is a small island with limited restaurant choices, we fully utilize the kitchen and all of the kitchen equipments that was provided, including spices and pots/pans in all sizes. The dinning area and outdoor seatings were great for family meals along with the ocean breeze. The whole property allowed for 11 of us to roam freely and enjoy the view of the turquoise water no matter where we were. The property also has a pathway down to the water, which is also secluded and great for a mini hikes with the kids. To top it all of Litza was amazing, she made sure to guide us to the home and was super accommodating with our family. I look forward to future stays here when we're visiting PR again.

A little slice of heaven
This house is spectacular! It sits high on a ridge with a 180 degree of the house and Caya Luis Peña. There are many places to sit and enjoy the view: a shaded upper deck off the kitchen/living spaces with a grill. This deck has great tables for enjoying the view while eating and a comfy seating for lounging. There is a shaded deck below with three tables and comfy chairs for eating, working, games. And that extends to lovely shaded seating by the spectacular infinity pool with benches and fun bubblers at either end and awesome nighttime lighting choices! Then there is a small 1/2 shaded separate patio above the free standing bedroom and another down closer to the water. No shortage of spaces to spend your day out of doors. A short walk through fields below takes you a rocky beach close to Melones beach for the BEST snorkeling that we found on Culebra! Comparisons: shark cages to right on Flamenco beach, playa punta Soldado and Tamarindo. The snorkeling beneath the house was amazing in terms of diversity of fish and living corals though we didn’t find turtles - had to go to Tamarindo for those. Suspect if we had forayed further from shore over the grasses, we may have had success. We did see lobsters and a stingray! The decor in the main living space is lovely! The kitchen has everything you need to cook (we found limited restaurant options on Culebra though we loved Zappa Tavos, Susie’s, Blac Flamengo and Dinghy Dock.). Having AC was lovely! The stars are amazing (limited ambient light). But bring bug spray! Mosquitos are out from dusk to just after dawn!! I would love to return and bring friends to share this slice of heaven!!! I don’t think there is anything comparable on Culebra!! One note for families: as with many place in the Caribbean: living space upstairs has outdoor access to individual downstairs bedrooms which open directly to the patio.
