Secluded on 12 private wooded acres overlooking a quiet lake, you will find 6 bedrooms and 5 full/2 half baths in over 6,000 square feet of log cabin living.

Vaulted ceilings, a game room, and a surround sound theater room with reclining seats await you and your guests. A chef's kitchen is completely stocked with all the necessary supplies to help you create the perfect getaway meals or cookouts on the grill. Evenings on the decks look west for a gorgeous sunset over the Blue Ridge mountains across the lake. Finish your nights off with a dip in the hot tub to wash your worries away.

The location is perfect for friend and family trips as it is near multiple wineries, breweries, antiques, and local Main Street shopping. Don't worry if it rains; you can fill your days in the dedicated puzzle room, theater room, or pub/game room, which includes a pool table, foosball, ping-pong, and air hockey. Even better for families with young children, as the house is stocked with kid-friendly amenities (toys, pack-n-play, baby seat, utensils, plates, and sippy cups). All within an easy drive to Charlottesville, Luray or Shenandoah National Park, VA.

The home is beautiful, it was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful. The lakeside view was really relaxing and the outdoor amenities (hot tub, pool, firepit, patio seating) were excellent. It was secluded, but also not way out there. All our family (adults and little kids) had a blast.

The house was impeccably maintained both inside and out! Our friends and family were all super comfortable and enjoyed making use of the amenities. The house is also super dog friendly, including a fence around the property! The main downside was the bunk room didn't have its own shower, so if you have a lot of people staying in there, just make sure the other folks upstairs are prepared to share their ensuite bathrooms.

Enjoyed the stay at Blue Bird Lakehouse. Kids loved the hot tub, pool and kayaks. Adults loved the privacy and peaceful surroundings. Weather not great several days so did local shopping, played in awesome game room and watched movies in the awesome theater room. Perfect for a family reunion, had a great time.

Bluebird Cabin is an amazing hidden gem overlooking a beautiful lake in a mountain setting. My grandchildren loved the pool, the bunk room ,and watching movies in the theatre room. There were toys, games and puzzles as an added bonus. The home is beautifully decorated and well laid out for all to have their own privacy. We are already talking about coming back for our next family vacation! The hosts were available throughout our stay to answer any questions and responded immediately to my texts!! I highly recommend this hidden treasure!

Everything was better than imagined. It was a wonderful home to make family memories both indoors and outdoors. You could never be disappointed in this beautiful home. The owner thought of everything to make it a special vacation spot. I have never been to a home with so many supplies. I didn't want to leave and I will go back one day. My 12 year old grandson said we should go there every year-now that's quite an endorsement!

We were so impressed with our weekend trip to this property. The house is spacious, clean, and offers a ton of really nice amenities. The Rokus on the TVs, extremally well-stocked kitchen, and game tables were all thoroughly appreciated. The house is in a great location because you feel quite secluded when you're on the property, but it's a short drive to a grocery store and shopping center if you need anything. I absolutely recommend staying here, every bit of the stay was perfect - the checkin process was simple, the owners were friendly and communicative.

The house was exactly as anticipated. The kitchen was well equipped, the furniture comfortable, and the house was spacious. The owners have just made major improvements to the exterior, but we were sadly there a little too soon to see it in its finished state. Cori was very responsive and friendly. A lovely stay.

We loved everything about this property. Our only regret was not being able to have a few more days here! We were there for the eclipse and watched from the backyard. We gathered for meals at the dining table which held all of us perfectly. We prepared meals together in the beautiful lot hen with the top of the line appliances, gathered in the great room for family photos and discussed our memories. We travelled easily to Luray Caverns and Shenandoah Park and took in the beautiful mountain vistas. We highly recommend this property and hope to revisit on the future.

We were a group of 11 with pups. We all agree the property was perfect for our gathering. There was plenty of space for privacy, small group discussions, full group conversations and gathering together for meals. Cori and Ted and built and furnished a comfortable, lovely home that is not cluttered and smartly designed. We may have started a tradition!

nice house grass was as tall as half your knee lake trail is terrible had to use their leaf blower to blow off patio around pool area and on pool to use it called said there mant man had back sugreon sure he not the only one that cuts grass around there and blows off everything for the money i did exp. better

Worth staying with tons of amenities. A negative would be access to the lake. Very steep hill and not easy to navigate. Was planning on doing a lot of fishing but couldn’t due to lake access. Also, the dock was very unstable as it was one of those small plastic docks. This place would be a triple A+ if lake access was much better with a better dock. Also, too may trees to enjoy lake view from house and deck areas.

This property was booked as a hosting location for a group of women who met in high school and/or in college (we all turn 60 this year!). The house was perfect for the group, with beautiful interior and exterior spaces in which to gather. We utilized every amenity available to us!! Pool, hot tub, game room, kayaks and paddle board, and a lovely kitchen. Would recommend this property to a similar group, or to a family with kids. There are so many activities and lovely amenities! Thank you for a most memorable stay.

The house and property are well kept. The kitchen was well appointed. The games and activities kept the children occupied. The outdoor space was exceptional. The pool and lake activities were the highlight of our stay. The owner’s communication was exceptional. The directions were clear. Our extended family of 11 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue bird cabin. We spent most of our time in the pool and hot tub. We loved our mornings kayaking & fishing on Lake Pelham. The fire pit was a nice evening addition with lots of s’mores. The gourmet kitchen was spacious and well stocked. It had every appliance needed. The teens absolutely loved the basement gaming areas. The tweens absolutely loved the theater room and private bunk wing. It was a fantastic week. Thank you Cori for your hospitality and easy communication.
