"It is a nice spot, especially traveling alone. Very inexpensive dormitory accommodations. Staff and guests were friendly and relaxed, and common areas are pleasant. The area around is excellent, near a cooperative bookstore and wine bar and the excellent museum at Castillo Ursino. Very congenial—not much privacy and no frills lodgings, but a good experience. "

"Great location right in the middle of the market in central Catania and near bus and metro stops. Located in a condiminium on the 5th floor, the appartments are modern, clean and comfortable with air conditioning, and ours had a balcony. With the balcony doors closed you don't hear the street at all but we enjoyed opening them to hear the hustle and bustle of the market each morning and to enjoy the fab sunset with views of Etna each evening. "It was one of the worst experience. The place was so dreadful, rooms are really bad, no on suite facilities, A/C was not working and the lady did not know when the person will turn up to sort it out, the surroundings looked very unsafe, we were requested to pay the money in cash (no facility for the card service) and even another customer was waiting to take our room if we don't stay. We did not stay there because it was not a hotel at all (may be a hostel for the backpackers)."

"This is a well situated property, able to access key sites with a short 10-15 minute walk. Upon first entry, I was a but taken aback, seemed worn and outdated. "The property has to be considered within the price, which is the lowest I paid in Sicily. For that it is reasonable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There was parking which I appreciated. But, the place was quite run down - mould and flaking paint etc. No breakfast, and the closest shop you have to walk on a terrifying road with no pavement where you think every car might run you down. But, the price is certainly fair. Best for solo travellers."

"Rob was such a great host. He really cares for his guests. With such knowledge and information about the area. He helped us locate some really great places to go see and to go for food and drinks.
