"Nice, clean property with pleasant garden. Owner lives next door and kindly provided us with fresh eggs from his hens! Unfortunately there was no hot tub which had been stated in the advert. When asked about this the owner said he knew nothing about a hot tub. As the hot tub was the main reason for choosing this gite we were extremely disappointed. "Months’ old dust, cobwebs, dirty floors, a toilet that smelt strongly of urine, a gas oven with no instructions that we couldn’t get to work, dirty floors - this house was upsetting to our group of 4. I will forward photos on my return home and would like a refund."

"Located in a very convenient position, it felt like home straight away. Restaurants, park, museum, church, corner shop and a public parking area all a block away. Very close to the railway also. "Renovated in 2023, this is a delight. Very well appointed and comfortable, with easy, spacious parking, the hotel provided everything we needed. Dinner was not available in the hotel, but a 15 walk into Albert provided a choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection to suit UK and continental palletes. Highly recommend."

"We arrived after reception closed and left early morning but staff were very friendly and helpful on the phone and left clear instructions on how to get in. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was also great! Lovely building and peaceful town, and we want to come back to explore the historical area. "
